WINTER HAS COME
| The house is empty.
Harper doesn't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. He guides Jamie inside and sits on the ground, letting go of Jamie's hand as he does so. He regrets it, he should've held it longer, but he doesn't let that regret show. "Sit Jamie, we'll think of our next move when we're aware of our movements." Or when you're& ;more aware of your movements. Harper doesn't feel fatigued or tired, surprising himself really. "Will you be alright here? Are you cold?" Harper asks, as if the answer isn't already obvious.
With the snow and cold wind, it's hard not to be cold.

“wear no crowns & hold no glory.” There's nobody inside, and the place has long been ransacked for anything of value. It looks like it's been abandoned for a long time, and Jamie doesn't know if that's good or bad. He sits when Harper tells him, tucking his hands back into his pockets for warmth. It's only a little bit warmer in here, though the wind still finds gaps and cracks and whistles around them. "I'm alright." Despite himself, Jamie yawns again, his breath fogging in the cool air. It's the worst part, when he can feel the exhaustion that makes his limbs heavy and his mind slow, when he can't do anything about it but trudge on until he passes out. "Thanks." Harper doesn't have to do this, but he does anyways. WILLOWcoded by electric of gangnam style

WINTER HAS COME
| "Are you sure? You aren't too cold?" Perhaps he's being a little to stubborn about this, but he wants to make sure Jamie is fine. The cold can kill you, not especially quickly, but death is still death no matter slow or fast.
He doesn't want Jamie to die. Jamie is important, really important. He smiles, but he doesn't think Jamie can see it so he forces it down.
He curls up next to Jamie, and glances over at the boy before glancing around them. They'll have to wait until the storm blows over, or at least until the snow stops blowing so hard. Maybe then they'll start walking back to the wall... Or maybe they'll keep walking.
Harper doesn't know which option he wants to go with.
