I think horizontal scrolls are starting to trend but I know they might not seem very practical yet to be on equal stand with the norm. I use a touchpad screen so it's very easy for me, and it's not that bad either if you have a mouse. Mobile and mousepads are the problem. For mousepads, I know there's a way for page down to correspond to scroll right and page up to scroll left, but I haven't made one work yet. I was wondering what you guys think of horizontal scrolls in roleplaying site - mostly out of concern for the practicality. In particular, I'm playing with the idea of posts being transformed to 2 columns. The posts are set to a maximum height and will horizontally scroll if it becomes longer. This is what it would look like while a short post wouldn't be forced to two columns like this. As you can see, the miniprofile is put on top so there's more than enough space for the columns. Besides practically issues, this would affect post templates. It should be noted that this can be disabled in certain forums. Any opinions?

You also have to consider as well that plugins don't seem to work on phones so anything using a classy will not show up properly. Like the last one with the moving to the side that you made turned out really weird in my phone.
Just something to consider.
