SETTING & PLOTS
The site will be semi modern! This means the setting will include limited technology. The plot will include three territories, three cities, and three groups. No group will be 'definitely' against another, but they will be out for their own interests - which creates tension.
There will probably be a site wide plot arch up when the site starts off, however the site plot will be highly member driven. Even the plot Archs will be broad and the outcome will be determined through in character plot threads!
CHARACTER Development
The site will have a monetary system using Ryō, and a site shop where said currency can be spent on cool items for characters like weapons, armor, etc. Ryō will be earned through in character posting (small amounts) and through duties (missions), exploration, and events (in larger amounts).
The bulk of all other character development: stat, rank, and skill wise will be purchased with exp, which will be earned through posting (in small amounts) and through training threads, and duties (missions) (in larger amounts).
THE SITE SYSTEMS
Combat on the site is mainly T1 (turn based), where strategy is the main thing looked at. However, there will be a basic stat system in place as well, stamina (HP) and Energy (Mana?) - skills and attacks will be ranked in a depletion system (costing a certain percent based on their rank and the users rank).
The site will also have an exploration system! Characters will be rewarded for exploring the world! Its a very simple system where members will mark threads as exploration threads and will earn ranked rewards based on the number of posts in a thread and the overall quality of the posts! The rewards will be anything from weapons & armor to encounters with mythical creatures.
Races, Classes, & Ranks
Humans will be the only playable race. However, there will be oni & other legendary creature NPCs around the site to interact with. I'm also considering maybe adding more playable races (maybe half - oni humans) later on, but I can't be certain.
The main classes will be samurai and civilians or course! Samurai being the main military group and civilians being pretty much anyone who's not a samurai! There will be plenty of plots for both groups!
The samurai ranks will be: Shogun, Daimyo, Erito, Chukkan, Hajime, & Ronin (they'll be explained further on the site)!
The staff ranks (just in case anyone was wondering) will include Admins, Head Mods, Combat Mods, App Mods, & Advert Mods!
