This site would be AU

Setting the rp would be set in a city that's best known for its politics and innovations. They have some of the best schools and companies that only the "elite" can get into. What makes an elite? Well the majority believe it has to do with wealth, power, connections... while that is true to some extent, it doesn't apply to all.

Plot (this is prone to changing) In this soceity, those that are bound by fate are considered to be superior than those with loose ends. Somewhere on their bodies is the name of their fate. Those that share a name typically work together. Those without names - excluding blanks - are oppressed by their government without so much as knowing the reason why, or having false hope of obtaining their dreams or a better future for their children.

There are those in the know that oppose this soceity. Under the guise of gangs or terrorism, those (that are also tied by fate) oppose the government outside the law.

There may be more groups or alteration to groups

True names are the names that tie certain people to fate, and to each other. Normal people don't have true names. There will be two people with the same name, basically entailing they're soul mates. Soul mates don't have to be romantic. They can be family, like parent and child.

Symbolism there is a lot of symbolism in Loceless. The most obvious being the cat ears and tail to tangibly expose one's "adult" status, and how people are viewed if they lose their ears too soon, or still have them rather late. Cats don't symbolise virginity in Japan or the US, so I was thinking that people could choose other animalistic traits like deer antlers and a deer tail. Or rabbit ears and rabbit tail. Things like horns/antlers would be small as child and grow as child ages into an adult. Female seers don't get horns, so in cases like that, a girl child could have deer ears and deer tail as?

Spell/word battles hoping to keep this simple by having various "elements" that apply to each name (you would choose, but would have to align with name). Each element will be strong against one element and weak against another while normal for the rest. There will also be a simple tier/level system. Certain characters may start out at a higher level than level 1. In each team, there is the sacrifice who usually calls the orders and the fighter who usually obeys.

These items would be expanded upon on the actual site, and would strive to be friendly for those who don't know Loveless.
