[[This will be used for Aozora's asking coding and stuff problems..]] Hey. Aozora here. I got a problem. XD You know that message box on top? Ya know.."FORUM NAME/« Maintenance Mode Enabled »" and YOU GOT [x] PMS"..can you get rid of it? I am coding a skin..and it kills it. also, do you guys know how to do those click and expand tables/tabs? I am currently working here HERE. I want to find a way for a sidetable/information area..without clogging the skin. @)@

To remove the message box, just add this to the global headers. You can find it on PB support:
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- document.getElementsByTagName('td').item(2).style.display="none"; //--> </script>

i use this code myself:
<script type="text/javascript"><!-- document.getElementsByTagName("table")[0].style.display = "none"; for(var node = document.body.firstChild; node.nextSibling; node = node.nextSibling){ if(node.nodeName.toLowerCase() == "br") node.style.display = "none"; else if(node.id && node.id == "pagedropmenu") break; } //--></script>

also, do you guys know how to do those click and expand tables/tabs? lol wat does that mean? perhaps show us an example of what you wanna go for? if you want like, a table then there's the table generator. there's also the horizontal accordion script, which i am no help with. the accordion content script is pree'y cool to use as well. you could also play around with jquery a bit, i thin there's like a .toggle thing for jquery which is cool?
buhuh, if you want something simple, i recommend the table generator.

Thanks Katya! It worked like a Charm! And Jump? Er..Not horizontal like table. More like vertical? =x And clickable? HERE'S a sorta of example. The whole start • information • spotlight • credit thing. XD Also, I decided [for now] to do side tables. BUT..Another problem came up (isn't that always the case it seems)..1) Side tables are too far. 2) The categories and such are uneven with the cbox/affiliate box/credit box. XD

EDIT: make sure you cbox coding is BEFORE the whole (V) thing, or else it'll come out crooked like you have. at least i think that's what solves it. /shrug.
ah, well you said "click and expand tables/tabs" i assumed it was a table. that wouldn't really be a table, that'd be more of a, uh, sidebar. idk, anyway.
/actually helped pris code that, nbd lol. & i'm pree'y sure i've helped you do this before too, but w/e. it's been a while since i used this, so correct (or forgive) my mistakes.
basically what'cha gotta do is take the code from the table generator, which is basically this code below (V), which allows you to make the "mini-tabs".
<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
/* * Dynamically Tabbed Welcome Table v2 * Generated by the DTT Generator * Created By Jordan a.k.a. Triad * http://support.proboards.com */
var DTT = {
selected: { id: "welcome", listItem: {} },
$: function(id) { if(id) return document.getElementById(id); return false; },
init: function() { var tCookie = this.getCookie();
if(tCookie.tab) { this.toggleTab(tCookie.tab); }
if(tCookie.show == "0") { this.$("pro_collapse").style.display = "none"; } },
setCookie: function(tab, show) { var tTab = ""; var tShow = ""; var tCookie = this.getCookie();
if(tab) tTab = tab; else tTab = (tCookie.tab) ? tCookie.tab : this.selected.id;
if(show) tShow = show; else tShow = (tCookie.show) ? tCookie.show : "1";
document.cookie = "DTTData=tab=" + encodeURI(tTab) + "|show=" + encodeURI(tShow) + ";expires=Sat, 20 Jan 3000 12:12:12 UTC; path=/;"; },
getCookie: function() { if(document.cookie.match(new RegExp("DTTData=(.+?)($|;)","gi"))) { var data = decodeURI(RegExp.$1);
return { tab: data.split("=")[1].split("|")[0], show: data.split("=")[2] }; }
return false; },
toggleTab: function(id) { var newID = id.substr(4);
if(this.selected.id != newID && this.$(id)) { if(this.$("nav_" + this.selected.id)) { this.$("nav_" + this.selected.id).className = "tabbg"; this.$("pro_" + this.selected.id).style.display = "none"; }
this.selected.id = newID; this.$("nav_" + this.selected.id).className = "tabbgselected"; this.$("pro_" + this.selected.id).style.display = "";
this.setCookie(id, false); } },
toggleTable: function() { if(this.$("pro_collapse").style.display == "") { this.$("pro_collapse").style.display = "none"; this.setCookie(false, "0"); } else { this.$("pro_collapse").style.display = ""; this.setCookie(false, "1"); } },
toggleListItem: function(id, name) { if(this.selected.listItem[id]) { if(this.selected.listItem[id].name == name) { if(this.selected.listItem[id].object.style.display == "") { this.selected.listItem[id].object.style.display = "none"; this.$("pro_" + id + "_default").style.display = ""; } else { this.$("pro_" + id + "_default").style.display = "none"; this.selected.listItem[id].object.style.display = ""; } return true; } else this.selected.listItem[id].object.style.display = "none"; }
this.selected.listItem[id] = { name: name, object: this.$("pro_" + id + "_" + name) };
this.$("pro_" + id + "_default").style.display = "none"; this.selected.listItem[id].object.style.display = ""; } };
//--> </script>
so you paste that (^) code wherever, probably global headers or something. and then, wherever you want the "mini-tabs" you take the code from the table generator from the staff area or whatever. and you paste it where you want it, preferable in a table. so, you take this code (V) and then yeah.
this is a bad description of what to do. if you have any questions, feel free to ask. i need to go play with this to figure it out better. brb.
