PRE/TAU- All of Wallace's threads and plots in PRE and Terror Among Us. In TAU, there was the Steven and Wallace there. The site plot was this group called Nemesis taking down Hoenn (and Sinnoh?) and ruling them. I didn't want Wallace to lose because of the plot because I love him so much so I made him join Nemesis instead. Steven wasn't there when it happened so he came back not knowing anything but realizing something was up. He and Wallace have a reunion but it's going to be one bitter one. It was what taught me how to play Wallace. One of the most unforgettable threads I had.
Then in PRE, he was an active member of Nox, a faction that was bent on taking down Lux, the organization that took down the Pokemon League and controlled the regions. Among his main conflict was his master (and later revealed to be his foster father), Juan who he had a heated argument with. Wallace joined Nox after realizing what Lux was doing while Juan decided to stay. They had a battle in Snowpoint and that pretty much started everything. I remember having to settle for an ipad for posting because my PC was broken. Can't believe how natural posting in that thread felt.
His other main conflict was with his friend, Steven, who wasn't as enthusiastic as fighting as Wallace. They go a long way and probably nothing like the Steven-Wallace friendship interpretation there ever been. This might bore some of you so I'm going to put their entire story here
Wallace and Daigo (Steven's real name) were childhood friends. They first met when their fathers introduced them to each other. At that time, Wallace had been adopted by Juan after his parents' murder and was being trained (without Wallace's knowledge) to become the next Gym Leader. Wallace doesn't have that much hope or ambition about such a thing but he constantly strive to become a better trainer himself. He has this vague, unexplainable artistic impulse where made decisions in battle out of poetic license, which always led to his brutal defeat and why he often gets ridiculed for making "stupid mistakes." Wallace have always been frustrated and vowed to persist with his own style rather than conform to the norm.
When Wallace met Daigo, a clumsy, naive rich kid, they were clearly polar opposites and Wallace disliked Daigo for his weakness. He was also envious of his wealth even though Juan isn't exactly meager when it comes to cash either, but Juan didn't spoil Wallace at all. Daigo expressed discontent for his future as heir of the company, wishing to pursue his interest in rocks instead. Not liking what he was seeing, Wallace shouted at Daigo for being a wimp and told him (in his own encouraging way) to always pursue what he believed in despite what others would say about him. Everyone kept thinking Wallace was a terrible, hopeless trainer but Wallace isn't wavered by what other people say, merely punting them so that he could prove himself to them someday. Daigo grew up looking to Wallace, who, for some reason, he called Mikuri.
Fast forward in the future and closer to the events in the games where Wallace and Daigo, alias "Steven Stone" became exceptional trainers: Daigo, wanting to experience freedom first before inheriting the company, became the more confident steel-type specialist, Steven Stone, becoming the reigning Champion in just a year. Wallace admired the progress Daigo had gone and had since then looked at his friend as a rival. It was when Wallace started chasing after the shadow known as Steven.
When "Steven" relinquished the cape to Wallace, he became Daigo again. Wallace thought he finally caught up with Steven and was looking forward to fighting his old friend but it never came. Daigo has no interest in fighting. Initially, Wallace thought something might be wrong with Daigo so Wallace didn't readily believe that his friend had no interest at all. Then PRE's plot came, lots of things happened and it eventually led to the two's separation.
Wallace was trying to understanding of Daigo at first but later on, he got sick of Daigo's reluctance to fight and called him a coward. Even though Wallace was putting his heart and life for Nox, the desire to fight "Steven" was still there. He was frustrated at the man's cowardice, but was more frustrated with him denying his challenge. It was a selfish wish Wallace never spoke of but deep inside, he yearned to fight against and with "Steven" again. Daigo was torn with anger and sorrow, for it was Wallace who'd always told him to be what he want to be and now he was making him choose between himself and his former shadow.
Now before you call Wallace an asshole, my Wallace is an emotional man because I wrote it in his traits; I needed an extra negative trait okay and with everything going on, he wasn't seeing things clearly with the people close to him. After the battle in Snowpoint with Juan and his epic fight against Matsuo and Mikael not canons, not important, moving on, he was more set on his goal to destroy Lux. And if you were Wallace, you'd be pretty frustrated with Daigo too, who showed so much strength and talent once but won't even show his face in the battle now. Wallace might be Daigo's best friend but he's still not a mind-reader.
[red] (Daigo's rper) and I made it to the point where they had this verbal clash and Wallace gave him the cold shoulder. He was all like, "go back to Hoenn you coward" and Daigo finally gave in to what Wallace have always wanted: Steven Stone. The two teamed up together and Daigo wore the Champion's cloak once more.
The actual threading stopped there but we plotted that Wallace would eventually see his error. Wallace was meant to die once Juan did. Since the circumstances could be anything, I told red that Wallace would EITHER see how wrong he was, asking Daigo's forgiveness seconds before his death OR he would be a blockhead and say his secret desire to fight Steven Stone once more. His Milotic, Alice, resigns to death with him. For those wondering if my Wallace was gay, no; he had a thing with his Milotic. NOTHING SEXUAL SO DON'T START THINKING OF WEIRD IDEAS. He's almost obsessed with beauty and...Alice had a big part in his life. Kid Wallace had anger management issues. After running away from home, he met Alice and was pacified by her aura. It was her who helped Wallace find his direction in life.
Anyway, yeah. Ironically, Juan and Wallace lived and red killed off Steven. For those wondering what Steven was thinking seconds before his death, it was probably Cynthia. They had a relationship. It was pretty neat.
Lurker played Juan by the way. Me, [red] and Lurker plotted this all a loooong time ago.
PERSONA 4- The plot in my private Persona 4 RP. Not gonna tell lol. That would...be narrating everything about the site but all of our eight characters played by eight different roleplayers are one happy high school clique who's trying to solve the mysterious murders and the existence of Persona and TV World. So yeah, basically P4 plot except with different characters (that are nothing like that original chars)
SYSTEMATIC BREAKDOWN- Kouji and Kouichi plot in Systematic Breakdown. We haven't exactly made any threads together - but that's exactly why. We're planning to build up until the existence of the other comes to their lives. It's interesting because of how different their lives are from each other. Kouichi is an important programmer in Digimon Online while Kouji is just a Guide who's playing the game to earn cash. Kouji is planning to quit the game once he's done with that. He also has this bigoted idea that everyone in DO are all slackers and nerds, so he's embarrassed playing the game himself. Nachtmare (Kouichi's rper) and I decided that they'll have their own lives first until Kouji stops playing the game, only to learn that he has a twin and he's playing DO. So he goes back there with a renewed purpose. Their reunion won't be anything sappy or cheesy. It would be awkward at best. Kouji would feel so guilty for not knowing he had a twin all along and would
awkwardly try his best to learn more about Kouichi. But yeah, they're living in two different worlds. It's going to be tough.
Also, Kouji has the crest of kindness. F*CK YEAH KINDNESS.
PRE AGAIN- Thalia and Shamees. That's all.
It's taken an incarnation in the Persona 4 RPJINARI REGION- Not a freeplay and definitely not something we plotted. Heck, we didn't even talk about it. We just did something like 2 threads with 8 pages or so each and it was THE BEST thread and development I ever had. Jinari Region was a "be a trainer and get on a pokemon journey" type of RP and we were all around the age group of 10-16. My character was Joshua Wind, a pretty cliche character who's always smiling and silly. As a kid, I didn't "plot" I just did things what I thought of my character.
In the first chapter,
Between Trainer and Pokemon it started off simple. Joshua gets to bond with his starter Pokemon, Erinyes, a Skarmory, encounters his first Pokemon battle against an Ekans, who he later decided to catch and named Feros, then befriended this cute, adorable Sentret and adopted him, naming him after his brother, Gabriel, Djibril. He also met his first friend, Chloe and her Tropius, Oliver. Somewhere in the middle though, it gets CRAZY where this man was setting fire to the forest. Kirbop (the mod) misinterpreted my post and thought
I misinterpreted her post that the man was actually being magical and was using Flamethrower. Oliver was badly hurt and Chloe lost it. Joshua showed a dark side. Extremely furious, he ordered Feros to kill the man in cold blood. But the rangers finally came in and managed to stop Joshua and Feros in time. There's this wonderful line of how the ranger Pokemon (forgot what it was) saved Joshua by stopping him for crossing the line.
Joshua didn't feel remorse about his thoughts though and, given the choice, he would have finished him off instead. Then came in the subplot with the mysterious glowing egg with light Joshua saw when he fell unconscious (I think, lol). Later on, he would find this mysterious egg in his bag, which actually contains Celebi and it was hinted that the organization behind the pyromaniac's powers was watching and have intentions of taking the egg from Joshua.
The aftermath was even better. In
Meeting The Big Crowd, Joshua tries and manages to cheer up Chloe. Oliver lives but is still badly wounded. I remember the moment where Joshua had dark thoughts at the ranger helping him, frustrated why no one was helping Chloe, who was crying at a corner.
In this chapter, Joshua delved on some thoughts about his future being a Pokemon trainer. Still early in his journey, he was already having doubts about himself. The contrast was made when he met Stacey, a trainer just like himself but is more determined to become the best, even to the point of pressuring her Pokemon. He met her when he tried bringing her Buneary to the Pokemon Center when he saw it was injured. He, Stacey and Chloe ate a special dinner where you have to win a battle to get free food. The three of them manages to win and Joshua decides to challenge Stacey in a Pokemon battle. Stacey has bragged about her Gyarados, the Pokemon Joshua has terrible memories of.
Kirbop and I actually continued this thread...years ago but it hadn't gone far, lol. We both think it's an awesome plot and the fact we came up to this as kids, it's just wow.
HAYSU REGION- Same with Jinari. Not as emotional as Jinari but just as amazing. This one focuses more on Noah's relationship with his three Pokemon, Stellar (Smoochum), Novas (Riolu) and Orion (Eevee). Noah despises Pokemon and he didn't do this journey out of his own choice. His foster father, an important figure in his country, just died and he was sent off to the region by his guardian for a "vacation." The adventure is a joy because of Noah's arrogant antics, not used to the "peasant" lifestyle and his three untrained Pokemon. There was this subplot with the psychic twins he met who were the one who gave him the Riolu egg. Somehow, Noah's prominent encounters are with Pokemon, which is really awesome considering how he despises them and my plot of his clash with the Pokemon kind in general. He met this street Meowth who was living the life he used to have before he was adopted.
I definitely must have missed a couple more out there but these are the ones that come at the top of my head.
