So as you can see my site isn't placing the code like it should. I'm not sure if it's something I did or the code on the site. I even cleared the extra code I added before but the sidebars aren't placed properly.

You're supposed to use { curly brackets } for CSS, not [ square brackets ]. That being said, not sure your sidebar is going to work even fixed. You'll probably want a table to position the forum properly.
