I didn't want to say "best." I opted to use unique instead in a sense that it was different, refreshing and one-of-a-kind for you overall. What rp site or sites gave you an experience with an impact that could maybe last your entire life? How was it memorable and why did you like it? Yeah, preferably unique in a good way xD
I always really enjoy sites I'm in so I'm always a happy camper. There was this one site a long time ago that I ended up hating so badly because of my experience with the staff and a veteran member. I was new in the proboards scene after years of non-rping so it was pretty depressing. I love every site I join. I feel dejected when the community thinks I'm some noob. So other than that site and this other pretty big time site where I was told not to join because I was not a suitable member, rping has been good.
My childhood included rping. I even inherited a game-mod site where I was somehow able to keep all the updates for months or even years mostly by myself. Had a few moderators but I dealt with the majority of the threads especially with events and stuffs. But even when I look back at that site and the others, I don't freaking remember what the hell was I thinking half the time. So I don't think what I can hardly remember can count as a unique RP site.
I think the most unique RP I've been in has to be Predormitum, a Pokemon civil war rp. Many of you guys might know it but it wasn't the size or popularity that was unique to it. I know there are a couple of members here from PRE so I'm not going to elaborate on it much to keep this from becoming a PRE discussion. But what I really loved about that site is how everyone's characters were like jigsaw puzzles who fitted together so perfectly. The chemistry was unbelievable that I just can't help but keep on imagining its story and secretly write hideous fanfics about it.
It was a tough choice between PRE and Terror Among US or TAU. TAU was pretty short-lived but I loved the members there lol. There was a time the staff team vanished but the members kept posting and I was like, wow, STAFF-FREE SITE THIS IS FUN. Also, I got my first OTM there ever. I don't win OTMs often lol. I think we are all aware how OTM can end up in a sort of popularity contest because people would obviously vote to the character they know and see are always posting. TAU flattered me because I only had one thread and like, eight posts? It was a life-changing thread though. I loved every second in TAU.
