She didn't say another word. Instead, taking his lead, she pushed herself away from the shelf, long legs now wrapped up in her arms. And in that moment, it was like something inside her just clicked. Within an second, she quickly turned her head to the door, and looked up. "Alohamora." With that, the door swung open, and Violetta forced herself to stand, albeit without much balance to make the action look more sophisticated. Her eyes looked misty and distant, as she mouthed some word before staggering out the door, one hand bracing her head. Pool Boy

You can bet Eddie had forgotten the alohamora spell too, but in the end, everything turned out with himself not in trouble. He didn't even have to pretend to be Isaac to get out of that bind. He suavely carried his bruised form back to the dorms, hands lazily behind his back, winking at a few of the naked statues that liked to wiggle their Greek curves. Next day, Eddie was still hyped from it all and he knew he had something on the prim Ravenclaw. The Captain wanted to see that weak look on her face again. It made him feel special - as if being Quidditch Captain weren't enough. (Nothing is ever enough, you know.) This morning at breakfast, he bet five galleons and first to the showers (the usual) that he could get Luttire to watch him at practice. And you can bet where the Hufflepuff Quidditch players sat, there were enough rowdy hoots and cat calls to warn her that something was said. He tipped over her ingredients in potions, giving her haughty looks instead of apologizing. He was lucky this time - the professor never saw. When they were dismissed, he stepped behind her talking boisterously with his pals. As they turned the corridor corner, Eddie took it upon himself to throw his arm over her shoulder. "You should come watch me practice, Luttire, you know?" he suggested, the crook of his elbow around her neck, his hand lazily falling down her chest. HIMA

Violetta's eyes hardened, lips pressed into a straight line. In an instant, couldn't say she had bad reflexes, she poked her wand into his cheek. "Step away from me, Hufflepuff, and do it now, before I send you out the window." She did not move when she threatened him, not even a muscle, save for those used to move her mouth to form words. "I have a score to settle with you." Violetta said with as much venom as she could master. Pool Boy

Eddie laughed hard, squeezing her into his side with affection despite the wand prodding his cheek. This was an inside joke - of course. Prefect was a kink through and through. Casually he plucked her wand from her faster than she could tighten her grip. After all, he had enough brothers to learn how to disarm them without a spell. "You're cute when you're all bothered." he whispered before perking up. "Where do you want to take me on, then? If I win, you're going to wear my colors to the next match." HIMA

Her Monday morning was certainly... eventful. Not that Violetta herself could remember why, exactly. She was just aware something incredibly eventful went on, what, with her regaining consciousness and standing, only to land straight on a small potion bottle that was definitely from her personal potions collection the Ravenclaw kept under secure lock and key. Potions was her game, and she'd often make a fair pretty penny from it when allowance was short and Violetta didn't want to admit she had spent it all on a brand new book. (Books just called out to her. Most literally, some metaphorically.) The question was how it got there. Her potions were always perfect, and very effective, and wait- she couldn't remember. Her mind drew a blank. A canvas blank and devoid of markings and colour. Yet, she couldn't help but think this was for the better. For what her mind could not remember her dormmates certainly did. Because, on that fateful morning, Violetta Luttire woke up her entire dorm room with a scream. Pillows were thrown at her from all directions, with shouts of 'shut the hell up letta we're trying to sleep what is wrong with you', which were replied with a horrified look to the guilty party. It wouldn't surprise a single person for Lilia Weatherspoon to get up of her bed and check whether or not the prefect had fallen victim to a stupefy, or worse. But all Violetta had fallen victim to was the aftermath of two butterbeers and a bad sense of judgement. After freezing for a moment too long and slapping her face a couple of times, she hurriedly unlocked the chest under her bed with the key around her neck, and downed the green vital. And then, here she was, oblivious and happy. Because ignorance was bliss. Now being forced to stop in the corridor, Violetta was not happy. Not having to feel awkward because of some stupid memory, she glared at him and pushed him aside, seeing as he had hold of her wand now. She was seething with anger. "Get the hell away from me, Nott, you... you perv! I have no time to talk to idiots like you! Unlike certain Hufflepuffs, I am not about to fail my classes." Pool Boy

Eddie tapped the flustered crow's head with her wand while she squirmed. The hiss in her voice hadn't the same affect anymore. No more relenting and escaping from the shrill voice because now it was attached to the girl who'd kissed him. He smiled, remembering it in the fade of his mildly drunken memory. "Oh, you're not happy to see me? Do you want your wand back, or not?" he asked after he listened to her protest, dragging her with his arm as the walked. He didn't really understand why she was so angry about it, but he would sure she would soften up if he could get her alone somewhere. HIMA

"Give me back my wand!" She demanded, allowing herself to be dragged away only to try and awkwardly grab her wand back from the taller boy. Obviously she hadn't had any experience in hand to hand combat, not quite like this, so her movements were slow and easy to avoid. "Why would I ever be happy to see you, you... bloody idiot! I hate you!" Violetta snapped, finally giving up. "I need to get to class. Give it back." One last attempt wouldn't hurt. It was obvious in her tone that she did feel dejected. Pool Boy

"You know, you would be kind of scary if last night never happened," the Hufflepuff muttered, turning them both into an empty Charms classroom. He couldn't help but pick up the rawness in her words. Eddie let his arm slide off of her shoulder as he plopped on the edge of a student bench. After a moment of silence, he leaned toward her, elbows on his knees, and tapped his mouth with her wand. "Skip class. Let's do it sober, Prefect," he said and a grin slowly painted his face. HIMA

It wasn't hard to figure out what Edmond wanted to do in the empty Charm's classroom. Of course, she was seething with anger, but all she wanted to do was get her wand and get to class. Violetta was already late, and time was ticking. She couldn't be later than she already was. At his perverted grin, Violetta merely made a face of disinterest. She aimed and gave him a quick slap on the cheek, mainly to have his grip on her wand loosen, so she could grab it quickly and rush to the door. Opening it quickly and shutting it, she waved her wand a little. It could buy her a little time, even though she doubted it could keep him in for long. "Colloportus!" Pool Boy

Eddie thought she was going to follow through when she leaned forward. A wave of weakness pressed over him as he thought of the girl he could trust surfacing just for him. The girl who owed him a favor. The Prefect who might let him walk away if she caught him with a keg. The quick little slap made him jolt well enough for her to snatch the wand. He was after her in a blink, but the door slammed in his face and then, the bolt clicked shut. He dug into his robes for his wand and bitterly cast an alohamora. Rubbing his nose like a beaten tomcat, he chased after her clicking shoes. "Violet!" he shouted as he sprinted after her down the staircase. Care for Magical Creatures was out by the lake, but he caught up to her tail on one of the gravel pathways leading to it. He was pretty winded, but the Prefect was even more. "Sorry," he said after moment of silence, watching her breath heavily. He didn't sling his arm over her shoulder or overbearingly lean over her face. "Maybe I wasn't clear, but you didn't exactly slap me last night." There was a sourness in his tone, but he didn't feel like pulling anything on her with the Professor in sight. HIMA

Never had she been an athletic type, and she never looked it either, for Violetta's appearance screamed little bookworm. Kind of petite, frail, pale looking, long, dark neat jet black hair and glasses that almost always sat on the bridge of her nose screamed librarian or a little nerd. She'd been bullied for it too, but that never stopped her getting the backbone she needed to make a name for herself. Edmond's voice terrified her to the core. What on earth did he plan on doing to her? She didn't want to think about it. How... vulgar! Disgusting! Which was much of an encouragement to run faster, even though she was already choking for breath. Hope quickly turned into despair as his footsteps came closer, knowing full well she'd never be able to outrun him. Damn, why couldn't she carry her broom in a safe little pocket so she could just... fly away? She could see the group from her path on top of the small hill overlooking the lake. Stopping, gaping for breath as she clutched her thighs, Violetta was forced to hear him out, as much as it pissed her off. "Supposed to kiss you? W-WHAT THE HELL?!" She yelled, barely getting her breath back but it was all she needed. The anger had to seep out of her. Stepping on her tip toes, she leaned closer, grabbing his collar. "Listen here, Nott. You do NOT make me late for lessons, UNDERSTAND? Stop talking like I owe my life to you, you little squirmy twat. I- I WON'T KISS ANYONE, AND CERTAINLY NOT YOU. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE." Her face went red as she thought about kissing him, so she let go of him and turned away as quickly as possible and forced herself down the path as quickly as she could. Finally managing to storm to join the rest of the class, Violetta looked up to the Care for Magical Creatures professor with an apologetic look. "I apologise for being late sir, I promise it won't happen again." There was a certain venom she couldn't quite remove from her tone. On close inspection, she found that everyone else was working in groups already. This gave her a bad feeling. A bad, bad feeling. She waited for the professor to speak, not daring to look in his eyes, bringing her hands to her chest. "Both you and Mr. Nott are late, I see." The professor spoke, obviously noticing Edmond behind her. Violetta gritted her teeth. She realised now, that being within ten miles of him would bring her bad luck. "Since you're both late," The professor narrowed his eyes, shaking his head. "You're going to have to work together, aren't you Miss. Luttire? Chop chop, no time to waste. Study the given creature and have sketches done for next week. Now hurry up." Pool Boy

It didn't really matter to him that she had grabbed his collar. Only her pink-slips pained Eddie, so he let her leash him as far as she had the strength to move him. It wasn't until she started losing her composure at the idea of a kiss that Eddie began to laugh. He couldn't help the giggles as he snerked into his hand, and in a bit, exploded. "They should call you scarlet," he said after she had released him, lackadaisically following her up the hill five steps behind. "You don't owe me your life. You already settled that," he muttered more to himself than to her. He sat down in his usual manner, legs spread out in front of him, finding a place by his friends. Jars of pickled magical amphibians were passed around while a living one sat on the Professor's hand. They were to study its anatomy by the book and put together diagrams of its systems. His friends were distracting, prodding him with their wands and other horseplay. Eddie hardly noticed Violetta like he had in Potions until class was over and partners were discussing when to meet. "Library, seven o'clock, right?" he said. He wanted to be off, Quidditch practice was soon, but he lowered his voice before saying one last tip. "Maybe don't shout at me. If you're embarrassed, that really won't help it." He laughed one last time at the memory of her flustered face and her little speech, and then, he went and followed his buddies. HIMA

Her mouth went dry. She swore it lasted for more than the moment it did last for, because for a split second Violetta, with all her strength and her pretend pride wavered for a moment in her eyes. They drifted before they glared, turning to then hurry away without a word, wind lifting her thick black hair so it could dance, savour the moment Violetta did not. When seven o'clock rolled around, Violetta was already sitting in the library doing some extra studies for her personal interest in potions. There were a lot of things that weren't covered in class, mainly due to the wideness of the subject and the lack of seconds and minutes. She'd been sitting until she got numb, then ignored it and carried on looking for books. Once again returning to the end of the long desk with a small pile of books, it was almost as if Violetta had forgotten about the whole meeting. As she read more words that seemed to fall off the page and touch the real live moving ingredients, Violetta ended up pushing the books away as her eyelids drooped. Her head finally fell into her arms, facing the empty chair next to her with almost silent, steady breathing. Pool Boy

Edmond Nott was later than he said he'd be. He was so not because he spent too long checking the mirror like a narcissistic Slytherin, but because he thought the keeper needed some extra practice. It was forty-five past when he found her asleep on the table in the dusk of the library, a warm study lamp to share between them. He took a moment to admire her expression, gently setting his textbook beside her arm. He could not deny there was a charm in her ironic vulnerability. He thought briefly of prodding her awake in a manner that would make her jump up straight, and he snickered at the image. He felt bad she had to wear the badge on her uniform, then, so he sat down and cleared his throat. It didn't seem to be enough, so he nudged her foot under the table with his own. "Sorry for the wait. I got caught up." HIMA

It wasn't as if it was her first time falling asleep in the library - the initial embarrassment she had for doing so in her first year wore off quickly. It was usually a friend who would nudge her awake, or someone who found her sleeping there bothersome. But never had she been woken up by... by someone like him. Granted, he didn't try and wake her up rudely, but it was so embarrassing, for him to see her like this! Her hands went up to rub her eyes, causing her glasses to fall up and down. She adjusted them and narrowed her eyes at the Hufflepuff. The daze of sleep was quickly snapped away at the sight of him. She turned back to her desk to appear to stack them up, cheeks dashed with a hint of glazed pink. "W-What time do you call this, anyway? Let's get started already." Violetta huffed impatiently, voice lacking it's usual sting. Pool Boy
