Yeah, so I'm going to try this thing. I'm keeping the drabbles over on my site, Somnia, too. The character is JEON BAEJI from Somnia. It was a tough pick because I love most of my babies over there but I already thought of several ideas for a lot of the prompt words for him so he won. Haha!
Anyway, so here's the first four:
001. Dice
002. Fireflies
003. Blood
004. Sea
Anyway, so here's the first four:
001. Dice
Chop, chop, chop. The sound of the knife hitting the cutting board created a rhythm to the backdrop of boiling water. Crisp cucumber, the scent of tomato. This was his element. He smiled down at the cucumber slices, neatly lined up, then at the tomato he just finished dicing. Using the knife, he slid the bright red tomato chunks into a small bowl along with the rest of the garnish, then tossed the contents a little before setting it on the counter.
"Who said you could cook in my kitchen?"
Baeji looked up, startled. "Appa?" He reeked of booze, his hair was tousled. So that's where he was. He should have known the peace and quiet was too good to be true.

002. Fireflies
"Heee! Look, Baeji oppa! I caught another one!" Eunji raced over to his side with her hands cupped together. Even through the little cracks between her fingers, he could see the light of the firefly. He grinned up at her from where he sat cross-legged on the grassy knoll.
Lifting his fist, palm facing upward, he said, "Guess what I caught?"
Eunji leaned in a little closer, leaning against his back. Quick as a fox with a chicken, Baeji opened up his fist--nothing there!--and he grabbed Eunji around the middle to pull her over his shoulder. Eunji giggled uncontrollably.
"I caught a Eunji!"

003. Blood
Beneath him lay the broken remnants of Chi Woong's body, face an unrecognizable pulp. Baeji's heartbeats at once felt too fast and too slow. The colors around him burned too bright, too clear but it felt as if he couldn't hear anything. The sound of his heartbeats drowned everything else out, thumping, thumping, thumping in his ears. Blood covered his hands, warm and sticky.
"Woongie-yah..." His voice shook when he spoke, his bloodied hands shook, his heart stuttered and shivered. He opened his mouth to say the words I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Don't leave. Don't leave me. Hands were on him, dragging him up and away. Suddenly he could hear everything all at once, rushing into his ears all at once. The chaotic shouts of Chi Woong's rescuers, the guys holding him back. But nothing was louder than the sound of Chi Woong's heart breaking.

004. Sea
With a hand shielding his eyes, Baeji squinted, turning towards the horizon. Underneath the setting sun, the ocean glittered and shone. Far, far out, dolphins leapt through the sky. A slow smile spread across his face and he paused to watch the glowing ball of fire dip lower. He shifted the bucket of collected seashells in his hand, tilting his head and looking over at Chi Woong as he moved to stand beside him.
"No wonder you love it here," he said, lowering his hand so he could slip it in Chi Woong's. The sun glinted off the tiny crab pendant Chi Woong always wore, just before it sank beyond the sea.
