I try to keep things fresh, too much of a good thing.. yadda yadda, but it would seem for the most part I go through phases. Initially I created "cool" characters, the Sasuke archetype as it were. Unfortunately every site I joined at the time had like twelve of them and because I didn't want to be "that guy" I began to experiment. Lately I have been attached to the "bizarre", those whose actions are spontaneous and completely off kilter. Like having an intentionally mute male crawl along a beach to conserve what little energy remained from starvation only to seamlessly inconvenience a nearby person with his antics or a slightly sadistic, previously introverted male threatening a meek citizen as a means of entertainment. I wouldn't mind creating a shy and innocent character for once... but those are a dime a dozen, so I often perish the thought.
(Yeah, I play Males... its easier to relate to and I don't want to misrepresent the opposite gender... out of respect of course!)

anything with a disability, whether physical or mental. but i also absolutely adore characters with deep psychological issues. i have a character right now that essentially validates herself through sex but i also love characters that have bucket loads of self hate. i just really love exploring the mindsets of my characters so you can count on me to have someone that is just all sorts of fucked up (Y) i also tend to prefer playing females over males but in the end, i'm not too picky. i like to play everything, to be honest, and i have a few characters that don't relate to either gender or see themselves as genderfluid. Characters with psychological issues are too tough for me. Certainly some of my chars have one we all have one but I don't wholly put a focus on it to make it as far as a his/her theme or something, or to use the term as "fucked up" to describe them xD I'm probably too optimistic for them. i like to play quiet characters because they're adorable and i just want to smoosh their cheeks because they're adorable
also characters that are like 8 D even in the face of danger before escaping to safety like a ninja are pretty fun to play.

My guys are usually annoying womanizers or jerks, and I always feel bad playing men that way OTL but every time I try to play a nice guy I get super bored ^^; So I just don't RP them in general cause after awhile I felt like I was insulting the male gender. I really admire female role players who can RP males so seamlessly, and male role players who can RP females seamlessly. Seriously, I thought Edward was a girl for the longest time even though his name is freakin' Edward.

HE'S SECRETLY A GIRL WHO LIKES TWILIGHT AND THAT'S WHY HE USES THE NAME EDWARD. AND THAT'S WHY HE HAS LONG HAIR AND A PRETTY FACE. AND LIKES FLORENCE + THE MACHINE. He's going to murder me if he sees this :'D

I play the archetype that's desperately needed by the story. Most of the time, that means the wise sage. The person who may have other shortcomings, but their biggest ability is to provide emotional and mental guidance for the characters (and sometimes the players!).

I play a variety of character-types, but if I had to choose I would say...that one girl that bitches about others yet inside she really is insecure about herself. She's a player and likes to go around and let out her anger through uhhhh sexy boys in other means if you get the drift and then she goes to clubs...to suck faces and drinks a whole lot. (some of my male characters are like this too)
I have no idea why I would fave this character type even though in real life if I ever meet this kind of person I would steer clear of them. I guess they're entertaining to play and their life is reckless and...I really don't know why. ;L
