My dominant hand has always been my right...but I'm left-handed. My right hand is definitely stronger since it's where I would hold a racket or a baton. My dad told me I ended up learning how to write on my left because I practiced copying him while facing him, and he was right-handed. I can't write well enough with my right hand and my handwriting in general is ugly.
I don't know if this makes me ambidextrous. I guess more like a half-half lol.

I'm the same way except reversed. Grew up in an entire house of lefties and I was the only rightie. So everything in my house was oriented for lefties and I just adapted.

i'm right handed but i taught myself to use my left hand when i first read the silmarillion in sixth grade because WHAT IF MY RIGHT HAND GOT CHOPPED OFF. so artificial ambidexterity.

I'm naturally leftie, and I basically do everything with my left hand except writing. I write with my right hand, because I didn't understand enough English when we were learning how to write, and everyone at my table was using their right hand so...
I can write with my left hand, but my handwriting is atrocious. Then again, my handwriting with my right hand is still pretty illegible, so I guess that's more me than lack of practice. In general, I do better heavy-lifting or natural movement with my left hand, but I'm better at precision work with my right.
Also 100% left-footed. Not ambi-foot-rous at all. Me trying to kick a ball with my right foot is basically anyone's guess where it's gonna go.

i am pretty much entirely right handed. any attempts to do things with my left hand is a terrible idea, outside of like... picking something up.
i type funny though which sort of relates?? i pretty much just use my index finger on my right hand but all my fingers on my left when i type... so i'm possibly more left handed when i type.

can i just quote garden's post because that actually pretty much applies to me aside from the fact that with my right hand i also use my thumb to hit the spacebar
let's take a typing test so that we can see how i type when i'm not lazily typing
yes
like garden basically but thumb for hitting the spacebar on occasion and right ring finger for backspace and middle finger for hyphen (-) and little finger for enter key
but i don't know i guess i probably am wrong on some of these but WHATEVS

I can do everything with both hands except writing, which I can only do with my left hand.
Other than writing I'm pretty ambidextrous

My dominant hand has always been my left. I do virtually everything with my left hand from using eating utensils, writing, drawing, opening doors, etc.
But having been raised by an extremely superstitious Asian mother, I was always forced to do things with my right hand, so I was somewhat ambidextrous when I was younger. Not like it matters anyways now. OTL
I eventually gave up on it, and my right hand (and entire arm) became preeettyyyy much useless now. I can't even hold a pencil in my right hand normally, and I have to grip it like I'm about to stab someone whenever I try to write something with that hand.
yeah no, i'm completely hopeless with my right hand.

Huh. I'm pretty much right handed. While I'm able to use my left for most things- such as catching a ball, swinging a tennis racket, etc- I've always switched to my right eventually. My grandmother is a left handed person but she broke her arm as a child and learned how to write with her right hand. Following after her, I can write with my left hand- even some cursive, but I look like I'm having a mild seizure. Then again, my mother calls my writing style 'serial killer slant' so at this point it doesn't matter, my writing is always strange.

i'm completely left-handed, though i'll use my right hand for sports or physical activity related things.

I can write with both hands but I learned my right first and that's my stronger hand. When I play sports though, I'm usually a lefty.

i'm a righty but i kind of wish i was a leftie. or a bothie?
i do just about everything with my right hand. writing, drawing, picking things up, sports. i do try to write with my left hand sometimes but it's atrocious and slow and i sometimes eat with my left hand. when i used to go to the batting cages and stuff i could bat just as easily left-handed as right-handed, if not better.
so i guess that could mean that i have a little bit of ambidexterity in me, i've just never strengthened my left hand much.
