wow, okay, um, i'm kind of an idiot and the closest i've gotten to learning this kind of... whatever have been long winded explanations with itty bits of coding that don't even, like, show what they do to help me along. that + sick/out of it mind = disaster. actually, that + me = disaster. i can't learn through explanation when it comes to coding. i learn coding by seeing massive walls of text and dissecting them until i know what each individual part does. so, like, if i can get some massive walls of text to dissect, i'd be a happy little deltra.
basically, i'm trying to do the thing where you click on something and the information presented relating to whatever you click changes. that probably doesn't make any sense, what i just wrote, though, so have some links. something like the "first page/second page" here, or the little plus sign and all of the other links here. if i can just get my hands on the code that makes it do that, i'm golden, as long as it works on v5 for proboards. >3>; which i guess isn't much of a question, so let me rephrase that as: where can i get the v5 code for click toggles or whatever those are?
if someone would be able to help me, i'd appreciate it so much. like. you don't even know. ;w; thank you.

Someone may have to correct me on this but as far as I know, the code used there is not possible in proboards. Someone asked here about toggles as well and I did link the person to a fiddle. Unfortunately, after trying it out myself, it doesn't seem to work either. The onclick event is something css cannot do (if there is a way, it won't be in simple means, or you would need to have admin access to put up a global script you can call from posts). But if you're fine with hovers, this is the best alternative I can give for you. I hope you don't mind that I took off the transition code from one of your templates. I don't code complex things on pb too much so I had to grab the nearest template that used a hover. [attr="class","outer"] [attr="class","inner"]Are you a wizard?”
Ocean hues turn downward toward the source of the tug at his coat and he's mildly surprised to see the pudgy face of a child, probably no younger than five years of age staring up at him with blonde hair and eyes a strange lavender color. Must be contacts, he decides and finds himself smiling down at her. He loves children. One of his greatest regrets in life is not being able to see more of them while cooped up at home baking.
“Why would you think I'm a wizard?” he asks, chuckling. He notices the umbrella from before and a very patient woman standing under it just a few feet away. It is safe to assume she is the child's mother.
“Well, you've got a funny lookin' hat and wizards wear big coats or robes or something.” She pauses a moment before adding, “I love wizards.” However, she pauses only another moment before scrunching up her nose in a way he can only find utterly adorable. “So you're saying you're not a wizard?”
“Sorry to break it to you, but I'm afraid not.” That's not a lie – he really does hate it. Because the moment he finishes, a crestfallen look graces her pale features – even more paper-white than his own – and he feels like the worst person in the world for having to ruin her hopes of meeting a real life wizard. To make up for it, even if only for a bit, he extends his cinnabar colored safeguard over her head to sheet her from the raindrops hitting her hair at his own expense, but the expression doesn't falter. Feeling horrible but having no idea what to do about it, he shoves a hand in his pocket and prepares to put on his thinking cap. However, as fingers dance across the top of a deck of cards he always keeps with him, he figures the cap can continue collecting dust, even if only for a little while long. [newclass=.outer]text-align: justify;height: 200px;text-align: justify;-webkit-transition: all 1s ease; -moz-transition: all 1s ease; -o-transition: all 1s ease;-webkit-column-count:1;-webkit-column-fill:balance;-moz-column-count:1;-moz-column-fill:balance;column-count:1;-webkit-transition: all 1s ease; -moz-transition: all 1s ease; -o-transition: all 1s ease;overflow: hidden;[/newclass] [newclass=.outer:hover]margin-left: -309px; -webkit-transition: all 1s ease; -moz-transition: all 1s ease; -o-transition: all 1s ease;[/newclass] [newclass=.inner]width: 600px;height:200px;-webkit-column-count:2;-webkit-column-fill:balance;-moz-column-count:2;-moz-column-fill:balance;column-count:2;column-gap:20px;-moz-column-gap:20px;-webkit-column-gap:20px;[/newclass] This basically makes use of the column count technique. If you're not familiar with the column count, it divides your elements into columns like what the way you see newspapers are formatted. In this case, we can use it so that the elements will arrange themselves horizontally. It's compromised of the inner and the outer classes, each containing columns. The inner class is where the text is divided into columns and you will only see the content one column at a time. This is because the width inside is 600px, x2 the width of the 300px body. The outer class has another column but this time, it's only set in 1 column. I can't 100% put into words the explanation for this but you would need that as well. Then of course, the hover is a simple negative margin to make it slide. edit: there might be a way using the ul/li trick but I'd have to test that out first. edit2: nope doesn't work lol

So sorry for the late reply, but thank you soooooooooooo much. ;w; Like, you don't even know how wonderful this is. It's a shame that toggles don't work, but this will be a lovely substitute. So, again, thank you. <333
