recently i've noticed a trend in sites using images other than 100 x 100 for mini profile graphics
does this prevent you from using certain faceclaims, if the fc is obscure and does not have many images? some of my favorite fcs have great manga coloring icons, but not too many fanart images, and i find it harder to use the fcs on sites with different graphic requirements.
does lack of images of various sizes influence your character creation?

I have never been particular about faceclaims. I don't think it's an issue for me, but I can imagine how it could be on some who might not know their way around searching tags or have strictly used icons for so long.
I think it's good to be able to adapt? It's really inconvenient if your art is too small for the graphic requirements, but you could just think of it as a way of changing pace. It's not like the trend now could stay forever. Still inconvenient, but people should expect some things to change from time to time.
So I don't think it's a big deal to me. I also like searching for more art. It would be different from person to person in the end.
It does, but I tend to blame the lack of fanart more than the site that demands me a different size xD

Because I'm only on an RL game right now, I don't have this problem. When I did RP in animanga stuff, I did run into the problem with a handful of my face claims but if I could find at least one decent image for their avatar, I was happy. You only need one!
