Okay. Since apparently I'm going to try to teach myself to skin v5 for a site I shouldn't make though I might just use it as a skin for the other sites I'm running idk jury's still out, I'm looking for the coding for the remodel with a hover banner that can tab over. I'm not sure if it's released anywhere or if there's a tutorial for it or what, but yes, help please? I really don't want to have to try to Frankenstein one after looking at how to do the tabbed sidebars and the hover banners I've already used since that's the only way I'd learn how, I cannot original code to save my life

i'm really not sure if this is any help at all but i used this plugin for tabs. i'll be the first to admit it was a bitch to edit (but i'm also a skinning newb with no idea how to work javascript so...) but it did get it to work in the end. i used it for this skin with a hover. i assume you're looking for something slightly different then i have, but it's the same principle and should be pretty easy to do. just stick it in a div and set your own hovers over the banner. i don't know if there are any tutorials/plugins/codes for tabbed hover banners since i tend to code from scratch, but this is the best i can suggest sorry!

I've got some minor idea how to do Javascript, but not much since, unfortunately, it was rather complex and I preferred to CSS everything in Web Design and now it's biting me in the butt. Which is also part of why I've never done skins before, the other part being that I'm bad with a whole site to work with and generally can't come up with designs.
I usually code from scratch myself, but I can't quite manage it for this. I'm already relying heavily on going around Proboards period just to do things. Never mind that this is the sort of complexity I couldn't manage on my own. And while I might go with something like that... what I'm trying to get to is more like what I've seen on a lot of Jcink sites as far as tabs go with the arrows going back and forth between them.
..... After some searching, I realize I titled this badly. I think I need a carousel banner thing, not a tabbed one.

Bumping this since I'd really like to get the coding for a nice, easy to edit carousel.
