Hey, I’ve been letting a pokemon-gijinka rp idea kind of mull around in my head ever since I beat alpha sapphire. Basically, I read a manga recently where a school of magic had all the students summon up a familiar demon (humanoids) to help them through their school years, and started to think of how fun it would be for the familiars to be pokemon gijinka. I guess a pokemon servant (not in a creepy way!)style relationship instead of the typical ‘pokemon are pets’ one? I-If that makes sense. >^< It’d pretty much be a pokemon school/town for fancy people rp mixed with rich/poor dynamics and junk? I’m not sure which of the following aspects of the possible plot would be better though? I’m stuck between these too:
Option A: the school uses an old relic of palkia to open up a doorway to another dimension and summons pokemon gijinka to work as familiars/servants (one to a student). This means they’d be taken from a universe where everyone is a gijinka, and humans aren’t around, and they can only go back if dismissed from the school?
Opton B: the school takes poor people who wouldn’t have the option to go to that fancy school anyway, and uses Bill’s technology from pokemon red/blue to run their particles through while adding in pokemon traits. They get to attend classes, but must work as servants. Kind of like indentured servitude, if they make it through the whole school years without quitting they get to ‘retire’ and live on the island with a monthly allowance for the rest of their life. Reasoning for the trait combining being something like: “Understanding pokemon research” or something.
Those are the two plot ideas I’m having trouble deciding between. >no I’d love to hear opinions on which you (general) would think would be more fun? Or if you like/dislike the idea in general. I’m very torn on whether I should even start to make it or not, since I don’t have a lot of free time. Any likes/dislikes or opinions will help me decide. Thanks in advanced!
