asianhistory.about.com/od/southkorea/p/Queen-Seondeok-Of-Korea.htmMake her a Servant pls. I would RP her but I would also want to RP with her more. I have a guy who was smuggled out of Korea and although it's been more than 6 years, he's still quite sad about that. A Korean Queen will make him happy. And I'm sure Seondeok would be happy too to meet a countryman. This is the guy (didn't explicitly state his homeland was Korea.)

guests can't apparently view profiles so here's a copy pasta HUMAN: CONTRACT: HECTOR OF TROY.
ENABLE PVP DEATH?: Yes. No for now. EVERYONE IS SAYING YES WHAT IF EVERYONE DIED HOW WILL THE SHOW GO ON. (But on that note, I won't be a dick and use this as a plot armor and kill everybody. I wanna see how PvP works out first.)
MASTER?: Yes.
OOC NAME: Chapel.
FACECLAIM: TALES OF SYMPHONIA, lloyd irving.
AFFILIATION: Mage's Association.
POSITION: N/A.
SKILLS:
Eastern Sword Dance: Ivon was born with the talent to use his entire body as one pure Magic Circuit, able to create mysteries through a dying art of twin sword dance from his homeland. His sword dance specializes in the art of assassination and swift combat, just as it had been unintentionally used by its creator in the 12th century, a boy who was ordered to perform before the king but had killed him in an act of defiance.
Ivon's longest dance last for up to 6 minutes until his breathing would slowly crumble. Forcing himself to dance with weak breathing may result to backlash. He can regain his breathing after 2 minutes of concentration but he would only be able to dance for half the time. Ideally, 11 minutes of rest is necessary for Ivon to fully regain his breathing. Any factors that would obstruct his breathing (such as pain and injuries) can affect his performance.
Body Enhancement - The instant he dances, Ivon's physical abilities slowly increase. It continues all throughout the dance. Once he stops, the effects diminish. It puts a strain to his body, hence why he would need a longer period of respite between dances. Ivon has no way of controlling this effect. It will occur even if he doesn't want it to. At 3 minutes, his prowess unquestionably ranks as superhuman. Transference of Consciousness - He cannot control the swords like how a magus can use this same spell to control familiars. Ivon's consciousness flows into his swords during the dance and they very closely become literal extensions of his arms. He can "feel" the sensation of cutting through the air, the blood by the tip of the blade. When he kills, it's like putting his bare hand through a person's gut. High Speed Movement - At the exact last second of a 6-minute dance, Ivon lunges at a maximum distance of a foot in incredible speed, so fast he becomes invisible to the eye. The like of Servants can catch his movement while humans can rely on foresight or previous knowledge to prepare for it. It can be dodged and taken advantage of the second Ivon pauses after the strike. It is the most powerful spell manifested in his dance, but also the most risky. It won't work on the same person twice. Magecraft: Or the lack of it. He has basic knowledge of magecraft but using it is another story. He's limited to what his dance can do. He doesn't even comprehend the mysteries he produce in the dance. They just happen.
MAGICAL ARTIFACTS:
Name of Artifact: Sa-Ingeom & Sa-Jingeom
Type of Artifact: Mystic Code
Description: Ceremonial swords usually reserved for the monarch of Ivon's homeland. They are the highest grade of swords that are made with great care by master blacksmiths. The purpose of these swords were to drive out spirits and ghosts. They are not unique artifacts and have been made by ordinary humans who, like Ivon, somehow could produce mysteries through their art without knowing it. The swords are fragile. It can cut flesh, but it won't do well clashing with metal. Like its purpose, it is effective against spiritual beings (Servants do not apply.)
Name of Artifact: Durendal
Type of Artifact: Catalyst
Description: The genuine sword used by the paladin Roland of Charlemagne. Despite its name, the sword had already been defeated by time, left in an unusable state. Ivon retrieved the artifact from the Mage's Association in one of his earliest missions for them. It had been given back to him in order to summon his Servant. The sword was said originally belong to Hector of Troy.
PERSONALITY:
CHARACTER ALIGNMENT: NEUTRAL GOOD.
Ivon has a pleasing personality. He's congenial to strangers and never cold to others. It doesn't make him the most popular man. One has to be rich and famous for that. Though he treats peers kindly, he knows they still talk about him behind his back. Ivon is smart and practical. Although not always, associating with people was more of a necessity than anything. There's always the sense of detachment and secrecy around him, saying excuses to stop others from getting any closer to him. Perhaps that's why they talk. In the end, he treats everyone like strangers.
Ivon will always make the choice that will benefit him, but it comes with the price of having a conscience still kicking all these years. Recently, he's been more existential. Being in France means being a Christian. The cover has started to become real for Ivon. He may show remorse, but the thought of mercy is still something he wrestles with. He has no hatred. Just fear. And it's fear beyond of just dying and suffering, but the fear of losing the one close to him. Ivon is a good person at heart. 300 years ago, his homeland dedicated itself from abandoning warfare, but foreign invaders forced them to take up arms. Pacifism made them weak.
BACKGROUND:
To Europeans, the orient was the land of mysticism, submissiveness, and sexuality. Both in the outside and secret community of humans and magi, the orient refuses to welcome the western powers. But the Church's efforts to spread its faith in the orient succeeded as missionaries from China and Japan were able to enter Ivon's homeland. At that time, it was enjoying a time where culture, science, and trade were flourishing. The magical community were experiencing the same fortune with its Chinese allies.
The state's affairs were not important to Ivon, who inherited his mother's low standing in society. But they were among the lucky, as his mother was a very talented courtesan who had lords and nobles at her beck-and-call. Ivon always accompanied his mother and learned the art of twin sword dancing from her. For a while, his mother allowed him to dance with her until Ivon became increasingly fatigue and weak. Believing that her son had a frail body, Ivon's mother forbade him from dancing as well as participating in any physical activities. One day, hearing of Ivon's prodigious dance, a noble insisted for him to perform. His mother relented and like before, Ivon collapsed after. It so happened that the noble had a visitor over, a magus who recognized the strange manifestation of mystery in Ivon's dance.
It wasn't an unheard ability but as the westerners weren't aware of it, it was a guarded secret between the Orientals, which would continue for many years to come. Ivon was granted high favour by the magus society. His mother remarried with a magus and Ivon was trained to use and understand his unique ability. He fought ghosts and helped exorcise demons, beings that were rampant after the foreign invasions that almost destroyed the country.
When the presence of Christianity grew, the country's magus community clashed with the Church. Though the monarchy initially turned a blind eye to it, the magi had done the initiative to purge the believers. Killing missionaries and even native Christians became part of Ivon's training. It was the first time his dance had been used to kill humans.
French missionaries arrived in response to the growing Christian community. Accompanying them was an English magus, who had been sent by the Mage's Association to support the Church. By chance, the group was Ivon's target but he was overwhelmed and knocked unconscious by the English magus. Recognizing Ivon's strange ability, the magus smuggled him out of the country and brought him back to England. Desiring to learn about the Oriental's secret, the Mage's Association kept his existence in Europe quiet.
A few years later, the Church discovered Ivon's existence and demanded for him to be handed over to face judgment. The Mage's Association protected him. Having little grasp of their language, Ivon naively believed it to be an act of comradeship. The case didn't reach a conclusion and was quietly left with the Association. Ivon wasn't considered as a threat so he hadn't been granted by a Sealing Designation, but his fate was no different. He was experimented on and condemned to death for further study.
The decision of his death was vetoed to make use of him as an assassin. He was considered as a freelance magus contracted with the Association. Included in the contract was a claim of his corpse upon death.
In six years, Ivon worked as a dog for the Association, learning the languages and forgetting his own. Prior to being renamed, he had been referred to as "the Oriental." During the six years, Ivon purposely repressed memories of his homeland to not give away its secrets. Then, at some point, he also adopted a young, abandoned girl in the streets after saving her from dying from cholera. Ivon had had a sense of purpose since. But to his surprise, the Grail had chosen him as a Master. Initially intending to surrender the Seals to the Association, Ivon had a change of mind after considering it a better tactical decision to be a Master than a bystander.
Besides being a participating Master, Ivon worked as an intelligence officer in France.
