omgosh I'm in LOVE with the "A List Apart" style. I want to do something like that now... omg but how do I do something like that with a Proboards site?

Yeah, it's a beautiful design xD I'm not that familiar with proboards customization so I'm not sure. "Give me problems..." could be the category or forum name. Personally, I prefer removing the category name and instead using something (color, for example) to group the forums.
If this were jcink, I could give you a more straight-forward answer lol. You'd have to ask a pb skinner.

Hmm... So I dunno if you know then, but would I have to use the if/else function that Proboards has now? Like,
if @media screen and (min-width: 600px) and (max-width: 900px) and then code else stuff another size for the board? One for larger screens?
I do want to implement something like that but I dunno how to do it. x.x And I dunno if anyone on Proboards has figured it out?

Media queries are css like your background-color and font-size, so you don't need to use if/else (which is php I believe)
you just need to do:
@media screen and (min-width: 600px) { boardWidth: 250px; }
@media screen and (min-width: 900px) { boardWidth: 500px; }

Ohh okay. But then how do I get the elements to move and change a specific way when a screen is a certain size? Like when it goes from four images per row, to two images per row, eventually to one image. How do I translate that into proboards? Do I have to make separate CSS for every element and stuff?

It should adjust automatically according to width. It shouldn't be any different. The elements within a container will always flow along depending on the container's width. As for how you put it in proboards, add it wherever you put your site codes? Wherever it can be applied in the entire site.

you may need to switch to pixels or adjust your wrapper width, or the entire forum width. orrrr it may be the board mod that's affecting the changes you're wanting to make to the forum width width - do any of the board mod elements have a set width?

Hmm, okay. That I can do. So if I do switch to a different sort of layout, get rid of the sidebar so that it's not so wide, how can I still use that same banner and make it look nice? I don't know what else I can do with that sort of banner, and I really want to use it because LIBERTINES was nice enough to make it for me. :[

You can keep the sidebar, I was just suggesting make the forum part not as wide, that's the part that's making a scrollbar appear at the bottom for me (so i have to scroll across to see all of the content). i know this is frustrating, it's almost impossible to make a skin cross browser/screen res/etc and is honestly the most frustrating thing imo. But if you don't want the sidebar, you can try and imitate the sidebar, with like a couple of borders that are colored on the side-where it kind of looks like a stripe, that way the banner doesn't look awkward because it /is/ a pretty banner ^^

How about 950px? Or should I go even smaller to 900 or 850?
I'll keep that in mind if the sidebar still doesn't work out. Thanks! But how could I do the information stuff? Like just a simple table (kinda like you have on FACE) or... D: I don't even know!

900 would be safest i think - cause you're adding about 200px with the sidebar
the table on face was a simple <table><tr><td></td></tr></table> table with classes & styles - nothing fancy.
