Being a pure CSS3, it means it's usable in templates (I personally don't add interaction in templates anymore). This site is a great example of a push menu. And this provides you of how different slide and menus look. Two useful tutorials I found are this and this. I highly recommend people, especially skinners, to learn and use slide and push menus.

This is a really nice feature. I've come across something similar in codrops but never used it because their method involved javascript.

Glad to know it helped! When I started doing research on web designs, I realized how out-dated my knowledge on css was. I think it's about time we start upgrade ourselves too.

I don't think I could possibly like this post enough times to get across how much I actually like it. I was just looking for this a couple weeks ago for a skin I'm working on though it would be kind of difficult to incorporate now, oops. :c, but like Wolf, I could only find the Codrops version and Javascript was being a butt.
That being said, thank you so, so much for posting this! I'll definitely be using this for a skin or so in the future. <3333
