*whispersProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboards* HONESTLY, LIKE. If I weren't so slow at it, I'd offer to skin for you. But at this point. I almost feel like it wouldn't be worth half the wait. :'D That being said, though, I could probably help out with setup, although I probably wouldn't make for very good helping staff. TuT *shuffles useless self out*

Frankly, the biggest reason to make a proboards site nowadays is that the community flocks to it. There's not much other reason to use it besides that (and the cool notification system, I guess), because jcink is pretty much superior in every other way. But if you're planning on having this site be a bit more intimate (which I'd imagine would come naturally for a Homestuck site, given the nature of the game), I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be on jcink, especially if the people offering to code it use jcink as their medium. That's just my two cents, though.
In any case, I can't really offer any help in terms of staffing or skinning, regardless of forum host. But if you use proboards, feel free to use any of my templates for anything. If you use jcink and the need is there, I could make some doHTML templates for you no problem. Just let me know.

I can't skin and I surely know I am a bad enough mod/admin that I can admit it myself, either way I support the idea <3

thanks for the offer, really, but I think I'm gonna stick with proboards. *whispersProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboardsProboards* HONESTLY, LIKE. TuT *shuffles useless self out* Honestly I just need help setting it up. I don't /need/ a custom skin, although it would be nice. You have a good point, however, I'm a lot more comfortable with proboards and don't really know jcink very well. Thanks for offering your templates though! :^]
