no one really knows me and this is awkward but
So, I was wanting shifters. I was wanting Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I was wanting both. I decided to squish them together. However, I decided that there are too many Pokemon sites out there, and I changed the Pokemon part to actual animals. I have a full plot and everywhere where this huge world war breaks out; goddamn MOTHER NATURE gets involved because the nuclear warfare goes on for far too long and everything goes to hell.
After the war, a settlement forms around this man's laboratory, but they don't really know what goes on inside 'cause he's super reclusive other than when telling people they can build on his land. One thing leads to another, the people of the settlement die, a bunch of people come out from his lab, rebuild the town, put a goddamn wall around it, and live in isolation. Man dies, years pass. Mother Nature has been screwing with the world since then and decided to make the people in the settlement (who are now the offspring of the genetically engineered people from the lab; some sciencey crap that made them shifters) her toys and grants them magical powers based on elements.
AND THERE'S THE GUILD. Can't have a mystery dungeon RP without a guild who thinks they're hot stuff.
So, basically, animal shifters each with their own element. The elements are almost like a "class" system with certain elements being more support/healing and others being more offense/tanks. This way shifters can form little parties where everyone has something to do, even the rats who ride on the heads of their tiger friends.
It's also where only the areas immediately outside of the wall are known yet not fully explored, but there's the exploration aspect of discovering new lands, figuring out why the hell Mother Nature decided to screw with them, treasure hunting, etc.
I don't really have too many systems planned out yet, though elements will begin with certain spells you can take on for your two starter spells. You learn more spells of your element as you go (still gotta figure out how I'll do that, possibly a site store thing for ease of life). Once you know all the spells already listed, YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN. Staff gotta approve it and junk, but it'll also be added to the list as a "second tier" section of spells underneath the "first tier" or "starter spells".
Might add in armor and junk too just so no one comes back covered in too many life threatening wounds.
Oh and maybe mythical creatures as bosses that just kinda appear and terrorize the town. Maybe even throw in a bite of a Monster Hunter aspect to it. Who knows.
I'm still open for ideas. ;u;
