idk where this should go
but some people said they would be interested in a resource post so... i'm making one. note these are not for learning how to code, these are just some of my fave places to find coding inspiration. if anyone has any good resources to add, feel free to post below and i'll try to keep this updated.
colours: colourlovers: i'm pretty sure everyone knows colourlovers, but in case you don't, now you do. color collective: cute palettes based off photographs, nice way to get ideas for more varied colour schemes. colorrrs: random colour generator. there's also a hex to rgb converter. prettycolors: more random colours degraeve palette generator: generates palettes from pictures, gives a dull and vibrant version, my fave. colorzilla: browser add-on, eyedropper tool. great for quickly grabbing colours from icons and pics. here's the opera version for all the cool people. naturalpalettes: color palettes based off nature
backgrounds: subtlepatterns: i think a lot of people know this one too. what it says on the tin, subtle patterns. backgrounds-galore: backgrounds bouffantsandbrokenhearts: cute backgrounds
design/inspo: designeverywhere: design tumblr, lots of cool stuff. thisisnthappiness: design/art/typography, more interesting stuff to look at. theme-hunter: tumblr theme blog whereiseefashion: fashion/nature comparisons, nice colour/form insp exhibition-ism: contemporary art
filler text: i totally think having awesome filler text can be inspiring gutenberg: literature archive, lots of pickings if you want some interesting filler. malevole: this one is weird. fashionipsum: this is my fave. i'm partial to the classic one.
other: htmledit: live html editor. not so handy for v5 templates but super handy for working on small bits of skin. border-radius: border radius generator

This is fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing. Here's where I like to go for choosing a color palette: Adobe Color: I love that it's live, and you can choose your color rule. I tend to use complementary, but there's much more. Scroll down to Explore and you can also look through premade palettes and search by popularity. You can make your own profile and save palettes as well. For Inspiration I love: HUDS+GUIS: Great for clean and sci-fi looks. Dribble: Dribbble is a community of designers sharing screenshots of their work, process, and projects. For Backgrounds: Stripe generator: I love stripes on my bg. Stripes generator helps me make tillable seamless bgs.
