theatricality & deception an assassin/spy academy rp
assassination 101 so it starts off with your typical ancient secret society. think along the lines of batman's league of shadows; these guys are known for producing the best assassins/spies/bodyguards the world over since the time of ancient rome. nowadays they train the best of the best via a school/university. interested parties from all over the globe send their best prospects to train there from the ages of 17+ for 7 years. less than 10% survive to graduation, but those that do are the personifications of badass.
advanced dissection so i was thinking that the site could be set a few years into the future (2030-2050 maybe?) so there could be james bond style shenanigans with advanced tech and whatnot. the academy itself can be found on a private island somewhere on the pacific. creepy jungle, beach, ominous caverns to explore...should be fuuuuun~ available characters would be the students and the teachers- who'd be full fledged members of the society. other members of the society should prolly be available for playing as the plot progresses. the plot itself would be pretty open- surviving training from hell and the cutthroat competition (huehuehue). older students could go on field trips i.e. actual assignments, while competitions and special classes could be held for others (mini-events basically). later on there could be the introduction of a rival organization. infiltration, invasion of the island- cool stuff that's vaguely planned out rn. should be mostly member driven though.
most wanted although i've helped run sites before, i've never actually started one up, or coded one before. anybody who can help set up a site, provide help with the skin and other associated tasks would be most appreciated uvu. but really, anybody who wants to help is welcome~
misc. its prolly gonna be on proboards and definitely gonna be with animanga fcs. if you guys have any suggestions/questions pls lemme know ^^

Ooh! I think the students of the school could be the kids of important/dangerous people? Like the kids of the yakuza, gangsters, drug dealer kingpins. Children of CIA operatives too maybe? And I guess whoever else have enough money to send their kids to a school like that. xD

If we're allowed to try and kill our teachers, I'm in.

they teach a class called 'how to get away with murder' and mean it quite literally im sure they'd be disappointed if their students don't try and put those skills to practical purposes

Why does a future danganronpa event/thread come to mind? 1 kid or teacher drugging half the whole school to set up games, then right after life returns to normal taking various questionable jobs and "extra credits"

This site seems p damn cool! The whole premise is alluring enough, and I'm quite interested to see how the plot will progress over time. I do have a question regarding this site though: What kind of students are there? I mean, I understand that a student may fall into one of the two categories, spy or assassin, but will any more categories be opened over time? For example, would I be able to create a tech geek who's practicing the art of hacking. Instead of going on missions, he stays at base, guiding his partner towards their ultimate goal via microchip. May it be guiding them through out the building, informing them if backup is coming, hacking certain alarms, or even decrypting codes - he's the secret eyes in the skies.
if you do allow these kind of students, maybe there could be a partner system where each assassin/spy is partnered up with a techy.

pretty sure no matter how much is on my plate, I wouldn't be able to resist joining a site like this (also it reminds me of Kingsmen, so yeah, love it)
best of luck with it, it sounds rad!

Would there be a specific way to know about the society? Or would it be that you have to know someone on the inside, or they scout you (eg; Kingsman Pin Style Entrance)
Also, there should be a totally badass name for these assassins or the academy like BLEEDING DOGS or TROJAN DRAGONS!
im bad at naming
