so i started a new job on tuesday that i ended up quitting on thursday because it was crap. the guy that was training me was telling me about this design program he used for his web design and development projects. the program is called what you see is what you get 9. basically it is a simple html editor that allows you to drag and drop different elements on to the canvas and create your own projects. it codes everything for you and even supplies the css elements you apply on the canvas. i don't know how well it will work with proboards and jcink because they have their own individual terms and codes, but for the most part i think creating a layout with this program would be neat. i already have a blueprint of something that i created in photoshop and opened it up with this program and it looks exactly the same with no coding on my end.
there is a thirty free day trial and it is fifty bucks after that. it is pretty cool for anyone that is serious about going into web design and development.

after testing this program more thoroughly, i have to say it is not really useful for proboards. the interface is like microsoft word but they don't really have a div tag and it is extremely complicated to add individual styles to a class.
