I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with pb miniprofile either. I know there are people out there who could help though so I'm posting here to bump this up.
Maybe it would help to tell what you know so far? If you have certain questions, I know they will definitely answer.

I'm not sure what you mean by "do." There's really two skills required for stuff like miniprofiles: coding and designing. You come up with a design that's pretty, then you try to code it. I explained how the miniprofile codes work as well as I could here. Otherwise... I don't know how to really "teach" design. Here's some tutorials--never read them, idk if they're particularly helpful--but it's mostly hands-on learning anyway. Just look at designs you like, and don't just plagiarize them, but take inspiration, and eventually you'll be making good stuff all on your own. It just doesn't happen overnight lol.

There's also a few little bits of 'theory' that you should keep in mind when designing. Idk if they're covered in those tuts that Katya linked but it basically boils down to accessibility over aesthetics: is it readable, can people find things easily? Does it have all the information I want clearly visible? Never ever design in a vacuum. Ask for people's opinions, take suggestions, and don't think in terms of 'my way or the highway'. Design is about other people, and the best ones never forget that.
