komiya akito, tell me a story of 1 night and dice. "When I was a kid, I was always alone. It wasn't easy having to fend for myself, and I didn't exactly have the money to splurge on convenience store bento. Most of the time, I had to cook on my own. My mom hid the knives because of my brother, so it was really troublesome when I wanted to eat and she wasn't around. But once I entered middle school, she took out the knives again. So I could cook, and I've been cooking for a couple years now. My knife skills are pretty good.
"It's really easy to cook omurice once you know how to do it. It depends on what flavors you like, but I usually go simple. You can freeze the extra to bring to school the next day, too. Just remember to not give it that egg layer when you store them. Fresh ones are the best, so just store the rice and fry the eggs the next morning.
"Remember to dice your onions and meat of choice well. Dicing it just right so you stretch your meat and onion value to the max is really important so you don't end up with half a plate of rice without the extras. Just the taste of eggs and ketchup might be a little too plain, so keep that in mind."

komiya akito, tell me a story of 2 nights and fireflies. "So one summer night when I was still in elementary school, we went for a camping trip. I think I went with one of our neighbors back then. (They've moved away since.) We forgot the lighters and we didn't realize it until evening had fallen, so it was way too late for us to actually go buy one of them. And because it was still early in summer, not many families were around, so it was just both our families eating cold canned food for dinner and hoping none of us fell sick during the night.
"Thankfully, things went without a hitch. The nights weren't that warm because it was early summer, but regardless, we still needed a fire to get through the night. It was getting darker and we couldn't expend all our flashlight batteries on lighting up the place. And besides, how were we going to boil water without a fire? My mom was pretty angry at the end of it. She might have been an inch away from blowing up right on the spot if it wasn't for the watermelon the neighbors had brought along.
"As we ate watermelons at around ... well, I don't remember the time, but it was late out and even the mosquitoes had started attacking us, suddenly these glowing things appeared around the tent. I thought it was the canned food starting to make sick people out of us, but that wasn't the case. My brother said they were fireflies.
"Despite being fireflies, they weren't of much use at all. They couldn't even illuminate anything, and if you see that happening in anime, it's fake. The next morning, we decided to cut our trip short."

komiya akito, tell me a story of 3 nights and blood. "This happened the year before I entered middle school. It was a pretty normal for a rainy day. The neighbor's dog was accidentally locked out and it was soaked, so I brought it into our home for a bit. It looked pretty grateful for the shelter, actually. I'm sure even a dog doesn't like being soaked and that they could catch a cold. But anyway, going back to the main story.
"I took out the hairdryers from mom's closet and started to dry the dog. It didn't like the hot air, but it was drying pretty quick and it seemed to realize that, so it stayed put while I dried it. It was almost five in the evening, so mom was due to come home before she changed for another job she had at eight. My brother was supposed to be home by four-thirty, but sometimes he's late and it doesn't really matter.
"So he gets home after mom does. Like I said, not a big deal. The big deal happened when he went into the shower and didn't come out, and mom was getting irritated because she had to leave by seven. She told me to check on him, so I did. But when I got to the bathroom, she was already there and told me to phone dad right away.
"When she uses that tone it's usually something really serious. I phoned dad, and told him to come here as quickly as possible (I repeated what she said). Dad was hesitant, but he probably heard from my tone that I was trying to mimic mom's Urgent Voice, so he agreed. I went back to report on my progress, and I noticed that the bathtub water looked a bit different from usual.
"My mom hurriedly slid the bathroom door behind her, but I didn't ask her about the water. I just told her that dad was coming and went into my room."

komiya akito, tell me a story of 4 nights and the sea. "I've never been to the sea in my life.
"I've eaten seafood, I've watched summer movies, I've drawn pictures during elementary school with us as a family going to the beach, but other than looking at pictures and videos, I've never really seen the Real Sea. Apparently it smells salty and the wind stings your skin, but that's just what I heard from my friends.
"My family's never been keen on going to the beach. We go camping, and we go trekking and we even went mountain-climbing, but everything's so far away from water. I don't think we've ever been on a fishing trip, either. Well, I swim in school, but it's a swimming pool and not the first thing you think of when you talk about the sea.
"The only boat I've been on is a freakin' gondola in one of the amusement parks dad took us to. It sang horrible music that definitely wasn't Italian, and traveled at a pace slower than snails.
"When my next birthday comes, I hope we'll go to the beach. I want to see the Real Sea, and since my birthday is during the summer -- it shouldn't be impossible to grant, right?"
