Whenever I'm stuck or trying to get the flow in writing, I always think of a character I once played. Probably not a very accurate title, but it's kind of like the character that motivates you to write? In my case, I often think back to Wallace, a canon I played from Pokemon, because I think he was one of my solid characters. He's that graceful and charismatic man, and I do end up playing that type of characters a lot. Then when I think of playing humour, I usually go back to Chase, an original character I've had since I was 14. I guess it's like how artists go back to previous designs and references?

I think of real people, usually, if I am not sure how a character would react. I play mostly males, so I am thinking on how would somebody with a similar personality react.

I'm not quite sure where my motivation comes out of to be perfectly honest. All I know is that it happens, and when it does it's like hotcakes, and if it gets stifled, I just lose steam for everything because it's just something that won't leave me alone until I exorcise it. I tend to be the type of person that takes on baggage, and expulse it I think.
But literally anything can motivate me. A lyric, a noise, a random sentence that has no relevance to the idea, going to the bathroom, heck, just yawning works sometimes. I tend to have ideas. I tend to do worse if I'm searching for ideas. And yes, the word used is very important in this case, tho I could rant on forever about it lol.
But the best motivator is someone's interest and contribution. I work best with other people sounding boards, and what interests me initially, and that combo is lethal.
