But, actually. Will someone who is super spectacular at coding please show me the way through v5 - because I understand but don't understand at the same time. It's a very confusing process--but I think it's totally doable. If someone wouldn't mind being my go-to for skin/coding help, that'd be baller of you. My current skinning problem isn't too terrible, but I just can't figure out one thing and it's bothering me like so much. So...yeah. Also, someone to tell me a better way to skin because I feel like there's a better way, organization-wise, to skin on the new v5. I'm just scared to try new things. Yeah, let's put it that way. :'D
Uh, also you must retain utmost secrecy because secret sites. B)
Also, I have no idea where to put this so I just-

I've done a few skins in v5 now, but I'm still figuring things out. That being said, you can PM me or my skype's liakuu. I'm busy with uni work until the semester's over, so I can't really give any in depth info sessions to anybody until then, but are you trying to skin with the headers/footers? Or with their built in CSS? Because that's a really, really bad idea. You'll want to use the templates. The default templates are all pretty arcane to read, but I cleaned up the code and added my own CSS classes to the forum wrappers and board list templates at least. They're here. The other main templates you'll want to edit are mini-profile (approach it just like BYO) and home (where you find the equivalent of cattext). I also recommend using the Advanced Styles stuff if you can't figure out how to change stuff through the CSS yourself *cough*roundedborders*cough*. You feel like a chump, but it does get the job done.
