That's how we say hello in my language. The direct translation is closer to "how are you?" but it's more synonymous to a greeting than a question. So kumusta everyone, I'm Ambassador Tanz, AMB Tanz, or just Tanz. I am secretly the irrelevant advertising mod. Jin and I were exchanging personal messages when he became desperate and decided to change the subject by asking me to advertise for the site. He knew the advertising spot was a position no one could ever possibly refuse what with all the thrilling clicking and breath-taking copy-pasting. It's a worthy non-paying, time-consuming profession in the Internet. I was too blinded by glory to realize I was being lured to a trap.
I've been roleplaying straight for almost a year now after having gone to a hiatus (loss of interest) several years before. Recently, I've had to dropped sites due to academics - or so I wish, but it mostly just gets in the way for the new project I and several others have been working on for a few months now. Currently, I'm roleplaying in Predormitum as Shamees Ferrer and Virgo Ikarios, Sword Art Online as Stephanie Last, and Tokai Region as Azalios Brimstone. Not quite active ooc-wise but I do put my share of posts in my threads. We're picking up the pace in the project so I might actually drop more sites.
I've been coding some time since I've been roleplaying and have learned a lot. I know what it's like to be confused by html and codes so I do my best to help users and html beginners because I know patience and perseverance is all the help they'd need. I know that's how I learned. Having people you can ask without fear of embarrassment or getting discouraged is the best way to learn the computer language. Though if we're speaking of complex java and c++, that's an entirely different situation. Those takes years of practice and learning, and something you best need to have learned when you were in elementary. Starting those out in latter high school or college will be very difficult.
It's my belief that everything I code is property of the Internet - as far as templates are concerned anyway so I opted to remove credits as long as people don't claim them. But I realized people often see your template when it's used in other sites and at first glance, they aren't sure where the template comes from and if it's free for use. So I attached the credits back in so they can link back to the site and search. That, and being an ad mod means I need to do subtle advertisements as well.
I always provide my codes with a dropbox link so you don't have to quote for the code. Sometimes, there are comments inside them too. Dropbox is amazing.
I'm a huge fan of Suikoden and second comes Breath of Fire IV. Not the entire series, just the fourth one. I'd recommend playing them but I know buying those games are going to be pretty difficult these days. I miss the traditional 2D RPGs. As for anime, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my number one forever, followed by Hikaru No Go, Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, then Digimon Tamers. Other shows I love (cartoon, tv shows, etc) are Gundam Wing, Merlin, Static Shock, The Justice League. Yeah, they're old stuffs.
My type of music varies but most people are surprised when I tell them among my favorite bands are Evanescence, Within Temptation, and Blind Guardian. I like very angry music. You should hear me sing in Rock Band. My voice is so wretched it can make you float on clouds.
I have a fabulous dog, my pride and joy Raekwon. He's untrained, a mixed breed (known as askal or aspin as in "Asong Pinoy" or Pinoy dog) and the most incredible dog in my eyes. He's smart, empathetic, creative, observant, and playful.
Today, Raekwon just got into a fight with our German Shepherd, Kara, who he'd always gotten along with. Kara has a violent feud with our dog, Shiro and one gate separates them. Whenever they start fighting, Raekwon always jumps in to distract Kara by nipping her leg and playing with her even when he was clearly tired and uninterested right before it. Kara's very friendly but she's too hyperactive and doesn't know her own strength, often stepping on our toes and whipping her tail on our dogs' faces. I feel bad for having Raekwon be her friend seeing how he gets tossed around so easily but Raekwon seem to understand why I want him to play with her. Kara's very lonely.
Raekwon didn't even jump in to entertain Kara when we came to her. He blatantly ignored her and stuck to me. I knew he wasn't in the mood to play and that his patience was running thin but I thought this was a good thing. Kara needs to know when to stop and the only one she'd listen to - not to any of us human masters - was Raekwon.
It wasn't much of a dog fight. Raekwon angrily told Kara off and Kara backed away, almost in shock and with a mixture of fear. She was a dog around the weight and height of a ten-year-old child. Raekwon was no bigger than a plastic chair. I let them settle matters on their own first, observing how they behaved during the awkward situation. Kara was the one I was watching the most because I wanted her to learn to control herself and be more considerate of her actions. She was really backing away but she wanted to reconcile with Raekwon. Raekwon was pretty stubborn though and wouldn't let her come near him.
After a while, I decided to intervene. Raekwon doesn't like other dogs approaching me so what I did was I tried welcoming Kara to me. Kara never - I tell you, never comes willingly to people. Not because she's shy but she tends to think we're playing tag all the time. Each time we come near her, she runs away immediately, thinking we were playing a game. Kara understood it wasn't time for games and she was thinking the same thing as I was. She immediately walked up to me, eying Raekwon who quickly lunged toward us. I stopped him before he tried attacking Kara. Don't worry, it wasn't hard. Raekwon listens to me completely and I encouraged Kara not to get scared. The point of it was to tell Raekwon that I welcome Kara in our pack so he should too.
I knew I got the job done when the day ended with them running on wet soil around the stone-made garden table like little kids.
Let's see, I have 53.7k characters remaining. What else should I say? Nah, just kidding. I felt talkative because I'm waiting anxiously for my professor to reply to my e-mail in case I've been dropped of his class or not due to cuts. It's good to refresh my memory of the anecdote too; I'm aiming to write a book about my experience with these dogs and other animals in my life. And for the record, I'm not even an animal lover.
If you need help with any codes, particularly the ones I wrote, don't feel shy to contact me. If you have any links to ad contests I can steal links from, be sure to send them to my gold, glittery inbox, bwahaha!
