Yo. I'm Sterre and a member of Team Magical Girl. Intros aren't really my type of things, so this will be brief.
I'm not really into animanga due to the direction they've been taking over the last couple of years, but some of my faves include Cowboy Bebop, Michiko to Hatchin, Samurai Champloo, Kaasan Mom's Life, Honey & Clover, Sand Chronicles, and pooblah. My interests tend to lean towards more mature, realistic things with a hint of sci-fi/fantasy or slice of life.
At the moment, my real fandom loyalties lie with Homestuck and K-dramas. I even have several independent Homestuck RP blogs on Tumblr. I migrated over there for RPing because there are literally no limitations as long as everyone is in character and refrains from acting like a bag of poo.
The types of characters I tend to play vary dramatically, but I like to keep things real with personalities because I can't stand most anime character archetypes. They're often just unappealing to me and the ones for females easily fall under misogynistic or sexist. That's just my opinion. If you don't agree, that is okay. I am not going to start any arguments over it unless it is a (mostly) civil debate elsewhere.
Out of the world of fiction and fantasy, I am just a nineteen year old college student. I'm majoring in early childhood care and education. Once I have my degree, I plan to enlist in the Air Force as an officer and teach in other countries like South Korea or France. However, if things go bad and my carpal tunnel syndrome gets worse, I won't be joining the military and will just teach in other countries independently. My main reason behind it is to hold up the lifestyle I have adjusted to. There are some great benefits.
I think I intended to keep this brief at some point. Whoops. I kind of suck at bringing things to a close, so I shall do that right here. Right now. Here we go.
Bam.
Also, I speak French and Creole. If there are any others around here, hit me up.
And here's my personal Tumblog.

Is the title of this thread a Homestuck reference? I also hear that becoming an English teacher in SK is a pretty sweet job especially if you're a foreigner.
And hello and welcome to Gangnam Style. Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Oh, wow. I appreciate that you took the time to read this thing and give me one of those team tag thing-a-mabobs.
Ohoho, yes. That is a Homestuck reference. I accepted Andrew Hussie as my lord and saviour. And you have heard correctly. I seriously cannot wait to graduate from college because this occupation has several of my aspirations wrapped up in one nice burrito of life experiences.
Thanks for the nice welcome! Things are pretty nice around. It actually makes me want to stick around Proboards communities this millionth go-around.

Do you know Nujabes? *_* he did the samurai champloo soundtrack I've heard that anime is incredible.
Teachers are treated so much better abroad than in the states, so getting out is a good plan. I'd love to ship out too sometime soon. america is too pompous for me.

@ Saito
I have a buttload of Cowboy Bebop music on my iPod. It is the classiest of the bee's knees.
@ Electric-Pink
Scratch that, Nujabes' music is the classiest of the bee's knees. I was so upset when he passed away. :c
>u> That's why I'm going out to another country. I would also just like to travel without having to really pay for it.
