so i'm trying to get this code to work and it's being dumb. >:c

i'm trying to get the main text/code/area to show up when you hover over the picture, but it's just cutting it halfway off and not working at all??

Where am I going wrong and how do I fix it??? Why is it broken?
is there like a tutorial on this stuff somewhere i could look up (google was not helpful and that css school site thing was confusing ;'c)
