I need a guide for all this marriage crap in Fire Emblem.
Help me, someone. Chrom is a picky bastard Don't let him make any supports with any females until you know exactly who you want him to marry If he has so much as a C with Sumia you're screwed no canon pairings my ass That's because he gets married at chapter ten regardless of what happens. Now since village girl is lame and a waste here's your options: marry him yourself and get Morgan with rightful king, marry him to Sumia and realize that Cynthia is pretty good alone, weep and marry him to Olivia after struggling to make C in one battle and then make Inigo rightful king activation man, marry him to Sully and waste a guard unit with Kjelle, or marry him to Maribelle.
Then pair up Sumia next otherwise her stupid picky self will be worse since she can only marry Chrom, Frederick, Gauis, Henry, or male you.
Actually before you even get to chapter ten I recommend using Serene's Forest to plan out all your units. And if someone has an S-Support available with someone you don't want them to marry, just don't start the support. It'll go away when you do it with the one they do want. Like I said, only one that messes you up with automatically marrying the unmarried person of the opposite gender with the highest support is Chrom at ten.
And that's how you play FE:A the sweaty try-hard way.

it's not even try hard for those with shipper hearts the only reason i really do not recommend chrom/maribelle bc it's a waste of maribelle's incredible magic stat. lucina reaaalllyyy doesn't need dat magic boost and brady doesn't need ANYTHING that chrom has to offer. ftr blue haired brady is also kind of hideous

SIFR This is your lunatic apotheosis run, right? I'd say MU (duh) > Olivia > Sumia > Maribelle > Sully. Sully doesn't pass galeforce, so that makes for a really sad Lucina, and while Kjelle is fine with any parent, Chrom is pretty bad for her. Maribelle!Lucina is the best support Lucina, and Olivia!Lucina is best lead Lucina. If you're female, marrying Chrom yourself is best. That being said, if you're female, you arguably shoulda been a dude. Lucina likes but doesn't need MU's class list, but lord knows some of the other kids do. ...So basically, use your renown to buy up as many seeds of trust as you can and dump them on Chrom and Olivia in their one battle together. That, or dance. Dance a lot. Don't marry Sumia to Gaius; he can pass down pegasus knight* to girls, so you're better off matching him with Sully, Tharja, or Nowi. That being said, he's probably the best dad for Cynthia? Frederick passes down pavise+aegis, but he also passes down a negative speed modifier, which sucks. Henry can pass down Rally Strength, and Cynthia can learn all the other useful rallies on her own, so if you need a rallybot, there you go. *That being said, as god tier as galeforce is, it's been pretty useless for me in Apotheosis.

I never marry Chrom and Brady. I just put it out there as an option. Tbh Olivia does the same thing but better.
In other news marry Virion to Cordelia. Get all the breakers on Severa. Marry yourself to Nah as a boy for dragon children. Marry Stahl to Nowi or Panne for skill dumping. Laugh.

Already I think I have to restart my game to make it happen, so I'll just do my first play through than keep the rest in mind. Thanks!

Also tbh it depends what you want for the units. I don't train for harder difficulties so much but I go for skills since I streetpass and double duel my brother, which means some skills (galeforce) aren't as useful.

Marry Gregor. You know you want to. IS GREGOR TIME. ngl, my first thought was Gregor Clegane. -- when you have a premise but not a plot

i'm in a pickle cause i'm playing lunatic on fire emblem and i could really care less for stats since all i care about is shipping. but chrom is just a button click away from reaching s-rank with female mu, sumia, sully, and maribelle. i didn't realize i'd have no time to get olivia before he's forced into marriage. i can't start over but ugh i gotta marry off 4 girls cause of dumb chrom and dumb me. my perfect ships have been ruined. also thank you hyacintho

And technically Morgan is op with any child unit as the other parent. Personally I'm in favour of manakete since those things are powerhouses and Morgan can overcome the bad skills most manaketes are cursed with.

Just don't marry a res flaw Robin to Chrom. Your Morgan will have the saddest res stat ever. I speak from experience.
Edit: we might want a fe:a thread.

HAH. I love how this became a thread.
So, uh, y'all should either explain to me how Eternity's End even works, reopen Knights of Cydonia, link me to another FE:A RP or make another FE:A RP.
js.
Also, I restarted my game, I'm gonna do it as a Normal Casual "Shipping" playthrough, then I'll be a sweaty tryhard and actually do things. Cause my first playthrough, I was at, like... literally Chapter 11 before I even figured out that marriage was going to be a thing, and now I feel violated.
