We haven't seen a successful League of Legends site and after working on the site and then leaving for a while, we've decided to come back and relaunch the project. Here's a summary of what we have worked out as to how the plot will run, the plot is still flawed and is a work in progress.
As a direct response to the world's growing physical and political instability, Valoran's key magicians – including many powerful summoners – came to the conclusion that conflicts needed to be resolved in a controllable and systemic way. They formed an organization called the League of Legends, whose purpose was to oversee the orderly resolution of political conflict in Valoran. Housed in the Institute of War, the League would be given the authority by Valoran's political entities to govern the outcomes of the organized conflict they would administer.
The League resolved that all major political conflict would be settled through the use of specially prepared arenas strategically located throughout Valoran. Summoners representing a particular political allegiance would each call forth a champion; the champions, leading mindless minions generated by novice summoners manipulating a Nexus, would fight to achieve the objective of the arena they were in. The most common victory condition of a battle arena would be to destroy the opposing faction’s Nexus. These arenas are collectively referred to as "The Fields of Justice".
The fights in the various Fields of Justice over which the League presides are not only of great political interest to Valoran, but also of great social interest. The League magically transmits the sights and sounds of the action as it unfolds to specially built arcane receivers located in key settlements throughout Valoran. Watching a fight in a Field of Justice is one of the more popular entertainment activities Valoran's denizens engage in. Now, where will you be caught up in all this havoc? Only time will tell..
Suggestions?

You can most definitely post your ideas here, pm your ideas or just hit up the temporary chatbox of the site. All will work, however the first and last idea are more convenient, thanks! MASQUE

Okay bear with me because I did most of this whilst half-asleep in bed. It does require activity and probably some work on the part of a moderator, but I think it communicates the feeling of a MOBA pretty well.
The way it would work is that each lane had it's own thread. So top, mid, jungle and bot had their own lanes. I'll start with the two solo lanes since they're easier.
Top and Mid basically have a initiating turn and a reaction turn, that switches off each round. The player's whom turn is initiating means that they can choose several paths of what to do. They could be passive and pass off their turn, send out an attack, or try to go all in on someone. The player's whom turn is reactionary gets to react to what happened. If the other farmed, then they can farm too - if they tried to poke, they can try to dodge it. If they're being attacked well... use what you need to right? At the end of each turn, a mod decides the results from how well everything was done, and then the turns switch. Initiate turns are first after the mod post.
Bot lane is much the same, however, supports always go first, in both initiating and reactionary. So it goes blue support initiate, purple support reactionary, blue adc initiate, purple adc reactionary. Whoever initiates goes first in the posting order
Jungle is the more complex one, as jungle is both a solo but interactive lane. The way it would work is that the mod presents the jungle mod, and the jungler in his turn makes work of it. And then moves on.
Now to make sure that top lane isn't in late game and bot lane is in early game because of how fast some people would volley, a standarized time limit and turn limit should work. All lanes have 1 turn together each round, which can be done in a sixth thread (the teamfight thread lol).
So basically 1 solo turn and 1 team turn = 1 round.
Okay so now, we can work into ganking. Oh man, how doth gank and leash work? You don't use the teamfight threads for ganks, but you can use it for leashes, or you could have the leash in the jungler's thread in one turn, since people don't normally stay for more then one or two attacks maybe one skill. Okay so ganking.
Generally, it's suggested that teams communicate in a mass pm or via a skype group or anything else, in order to coordinate. But a gank would require the player to pm the mod, saying they're going to gank, and then proceed to try and gank the lane. Their turn comes before the supports. And if a jungler ganks, then for that team it becomes an automatic initiation turn, so it'd go blue jungler, blue support, purple support, blue adc and purple adc. The turn after that, the jungler is still in lane, but reactionary, and well after that the jungler leaves the thread.
When the game comes to a point where laning isn't an option (mid-game or so) then the teamfight thread is used in the same format of initiating and reactionary.
Might seem a bit complex but yeah, it'd work? You'd just have to work out the reward system for farming+kills and how to work in items (for example, wards would be buyable and placed and if a jungler goes to gank in the spot where there's a ward, the mod may warn the opposing team that a gank is coming, and their jungler can come support if wished).
It's a lot of work and I know that, but it might spark ideas on how to handle threads? Also, considering we're rping the actual champs, we'd get to take into considering the environment a lot more then we would in game, adding a new dimension to everything.
yup.

I've read it through and it could use some tweaks and I know you mentioned it will need some tweaks, if you'd like to hop on our C-Box or add me on skype (pinkponiesxx) we could discuss further if you're interested. I appreciate the ideas though .

The only problem I eventually: the site is the fact that there's a limited champion pool. If you had like sixty-seventy active members, and each had two-three champions then the whole champion pool is gone and new people wouldn't be able to join.
I like the idea though, hope it works out because I'd join.! (dibsezrealthough) c:

That's true enough but I think OC Champions are allowed, at least I assume so after looking at the site, thus eliminating that problem.
