I am really craving some horror/thriller games right now, which happens quite often. I'm a real chicken when I play the games, so sometimes I'll just watch LPs but other times I'll be interested enough to actually download the game and play it.
I'd prefer games that are on PC, as those are the only ones I'm willing to actually play. Also, my laptop isn't a champ at graphics, but anything that's really good I can always watch LPs of.
SO PRETTY MUCH, JUST SUGGEST ME SOME SCARY AS FUCK VIDEO GAMES.
(Resident Evil & Silent Hill & others are obvious, but I suppose you can suggest them).
Ones I've played/watched LPs of include Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Penumbra: Overture, Slender, SCP: Containment Breach, Resident Evil 5, Obscure, Home, and maybe a few others I can't think of.

It's quite unfortunate that you crave "horror/thriller" because this generation has seen a major departure from those types of games, nor does it help that you've already seen Let's Plays of the most well-known ones. Regardless based on your criteria might I recommend: Alan Wake, Dead Space, or Bioshock?
If you don't mind waiting a while to satiate your need for scares, The Evil Within, Outlast, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and Slender: The Arrival are scheduled to be released sometime this year. They all look very promising, especially the first two.
One final note, if you happen to have a PS2 or know someone who does, it was jam-packed with many great Survival Horror titles, almost ridiculously so. Just to list a few: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, The Suffering, and Clock Tower.
Happy haunting!

Happy haunting! Clock Tower[/i] Silent Hill is the best PS1 horror game imo. God I couldn't proceed in the school and the alarm is scaring the shit out of meI'm not really an avid gamer but if you want something quicker, there's The Witch's House? Yeah, I basically just watch PewDiePie.

The Witch's House, IB is meant to be good too. Aaaahhhh there's another indie game like them that I've seen on Tumblr a lot, 'Off' I think it's called?
Also not really horror but Limbo is very atmospheric and should run fine on even the slowest laptops (if mine can run it, anyone's can).

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is on gamecube, but still worth mentioning imo. It's really good. Otherwise, besides the obvious, I don't know. You could try Alice: The Madness Returns, which I've heard great stuff about, but judging from the gifs I've seen, it's not as eerie as the others you've mentioned.
Off! is a French game made with rpgmaker, I think. Like Alice, it doesn't really seem like horror (not the type you're looking for anyway) to me, but by all accounts, it's really good. May as well check it out since it's free.
Honestly, I'd say your best bet is watching some movies.

I second Konya's IB! It's about a little girl trapped in a haunted museum and it free too. I'd call it a thriller/horror/puzzle with a story. some moments are really surreal, deep, and fucked up. It's also really amazing for what they can do with minimalist graphics. Like comparing modern horror with the old school. www.vgperson.com/games/ib.htm

If you like IB's style I also recommend Yume Nikki, which is rather open-ended and uses pixels for graphics, but is creepy all the same. I also recommend .flow, which has a similar gameplay to Yume Nikki imo. Personally I think .flow is scarier.

I held off on mentioning this one because I wasn't sure if you would be able to procure it but "Corpse Party" is something you might want to look into. It is a visual novel with slight adventure game mechanics and I do believe it was plenty gory...
