DNC is a Devil May Cry based site. BUT no one needs to know anything about the DMC universe to join because we are really very original and knowing the games is not a requirement at all. (many members have never played). But I am looking for canons from the game, as well as OC-canons created for the site. It is set in a modern world plagued by supernatural creatures. The first two characters I mention are the ones I am REALLY REALLY searching for so if you are interested lemme know!
SETTING:
Welcome to a city where nightmares and reality mixes. Where stories used to scare children into behaving are often more than just stories. In this world supernatural creatures lurk around every corner. Some are always out for blood, while others prefer to blend in with us, living normal lives. But who can you trust?
City life is busy and demanding as always. While some people are too wrapped up in their lives to notice the strange things that go on in the city, there are others who seek it out or accidentally run into trouble. Monsters do lurk in most shadows or hide in human form waiting for the right moment to strike.
Silence is often followed by screams and blood stained streets. But demons aren't the only monsters lurking in the dark, sometimes monsters are human too.
NEEDED CHARACTERS:
Nero
You will need to have played DMC4 for this role because he is a canon from the game. Nero is a young part-demon from Fortuna, he helped in destroying a large infestation of demons there and protected his home that is now currently being rebuilt. He has a demonic right arm and seems to carry Vergil’s old sword. Nero continues to protect Fortuna to this day.
Baal
You do NOT need to play games to know this character, he is only mentioned in the anime BUT because of the site's AU the anime is not considered canon. So this character could be considered almost completely original. I really need someone rp RP him because I use his brother, Modeus.
A demon who was taught swordsmanship by Sparda himself many many years ago, Baal is tough and somewhat blunt. His body he stronger them his brother’s, yet he seems to lack the heart Modeus does. He believes Sparda will not be back for them and wishes to surpass both his brother and Sparda by seeking his son’s soul. He is Modeus’ older twin brother. If you want more information on him I recommend reading Modeus' profile. You can adapt from there, or share new ideas.
Police Chief
Name and faceclaim are up to you. Because he is the head of the police he needs to be slightly aged with a good head on his shoulders. Calm and mature, yet with a sense of humor about him. We're really open or ideas, so if you have a OC who just needs a job or want an easy way to get involved with other characters this might be what you're looking for!
Angelic Council Members
These angels 'rule' the Overworld where the Angels live. They are well aged and very powerful. They as a group make the decisions for their kind and uphold the laws. But also have to obey the laws themselves. We're open for ideas on this because so far I rp the only one. Lol
