Could be your fears, some else's fears, a universal fear, etc. But I'll be the first to reveal everyone's TRUE fear. When you go into a bathroom and you lift up the toilet's lid.... THERE'S A HEAD FLOATING INSIDE.

When I was a little kid--and I mean little, I was recently potty-trained, so toilets still held like this really huge fascination for me--I had this nightmare. It was a really normal dream at first, like wee toddler me was taking a piss in my bathroom. I do my business, flush the toilet, and then I look down into the toilet, and there is a decapitated clown head looking back up at me. Like, it's bloody and everything, the toilet water is turning red from its gushing neck. And the clown face ain't dead, it laughs at me.
I spent like the next ten years scared of toilets.

never really thought much of toilets but escalators. When I was little I was always very careful not to step on the crease where escalator ended and the floor began because obviously I would be sucked up right along with the tracks. Still not the fondest of escalators these days but now its more about tripping and falling.
But I'd take an escalator over an elevator any day. I do not like my life being dangled a few stories into the air by some cable tyvm. Also what if the door closes on you. Also what if the floors collapse from under you. Also, what if you're in there with like a murderer or something. Also elevator rides tend to give me motion sickness that's not as much of a fear as it is an ugghh.

i used to have the biggest fear of riding elevators. i couldn't even go near one, 'cause i thought they'd crash down and i'd be smashed and i'd die decapitated or something. but then i went on this cruise ride, and the only way (probably not) you could go between floors was to take an elevator. those few days i spent on that boat, i learned the value of elevators. they're magic.

I hate planes. I just hate 'em for numerous reasons and have a fear of them too. I keep on thinking that a military missile will come and KABOOM the plane. and the fact that i use to play plane simulators where i crashed all the time combined with AVP the movie...well...
I also have a fear and hatred towards dinosaurs, especially when I watched Jurassic Park. I use to have awful dreams of T-rex's and still am scared of dinosaurs in general.

I use to have awful dreams of T-rex's and still am scared of dinosaurs in general. I have those too! I live in NY and grew up in the Bronx. Ever since 9/11, if I see a plane in the sky that looks like it's flying close to the ground I get super jumpy and nervous. I'm always scared another plane is going to crash. I also hate when someone I care about is going on a plane, because I get anxious that something bad will happen to them while they're on the plane. And I also used to have horrible, recurring nightmares about dinosaurs after watching Jurassic Park on accident when I was a kid. My grandmother had been watching it and I was watching over her shoulder. After seeing the first guy getting eaten, I was done, and had all kinds of night terrors about dinosaurs eating my family. When I was small I had lots of night terrors in general, but dinosaurs are the ones I most remember. My worst fear ever though, is that if I'm not around something bad will happen to my brothers. I kinda mothered/raised my now 18-year-old brother, and it's very hard for me not to parent my youngest brother since his parents are actually here. I always worry about who they're growing up to be or what will happen to them as if I am their mother.
