i have heard all the excuses about not wanting to start threads: "i'm not good at them," "i have no ideas." well, you can no longer use those excuses because i am providing plenty of thread starter prompts for you to use and enjoy and if you can write a reply, you can write a starting post! feel free to add more!

- buying something embarrassing for a significant other/friend (guys - tampons, pads, etc. I have fewer ideas for girls in this regard. xP)
- encountering old acquaintence that was a bully/victim of your bullying (awkward...)

TAVERN TRANSACTIONS for medieval and pirate settings, but they can be adapted for other settings as well. Several scenarios can work here. Use your imagination with this area. So much one can do.
- One could be a secret trade of information for coinage. But one is suspected to be something they are not. Accusing the other, both stand and point pistols at each other. The whole tavern does the same with weapons pointed at everyone else until tension is relieved by some remark or truce.
- Another could be a ship owner seeking out and obtaining a Captain to command their ship to obtain contraband/highly taxed items and smuggle them in.
- Captain and crew could be having fun while a "Judas" comes in with the Military to arrest the Captain and/or the crew for a hefty price.
- Could be playing with some folks, other pirates, etc a gambling game for a while. Until it goes awry. Pistols drawn or swords at throats with accusations until the cheater is exposed then kicked out.
