This game is one that almost everyone knows about, has played it, or has watched someone on YouTube play it. Yes, that game is Five Nights at Freddy's. Has anyone actually played those games, or at least watched someone play it and shit your drawers? If you have played it share your thoughts. Do you find that game scary at all? Personally, I like how tense it is yes I've played it, I have FNAF 1 and 2, and most of the time the jump-scares get me since I don't see them coming a lot.

i haven't played it, or watched a whole playthrough of it, but i do find the story fascinating. game theory on yt made an excellent video on a what the full story behind the games could be, and well, i found it pretty convincing.
im terrible at jump scares cries

I have fnaf 1 but I really want 2 and 3 because I love the games. I've been watching Markiplier play them though until I can get them ;w;

At first I found the story to be kinda lackluster and weird, but as time went on and more games came out I found it was more complex than it was with just the first game XD Though I still prefer a story about malfunctioning animatronics instead of haunted ones. Would've made the game a little more scary.

Ugh. I don't know why I punish myself with these games. I'm pretty sure it's the cause of my nightmares. xD

At first didn't really care for the game, and saw things popping everywhere about it. Then I saw Game Theory do a video about it and a possible story... It all went uphill after that. Started to research on it, found multiple of really awesome music videos on the game. Eventually by the time the third one came out decided to actually do a whole marathon of different let's plays on it.
Have to say, over all if I was playing the game myself, I wouldn't be able to finish... I get myself too immersed in the game to actually enjoy the lore, if it was me playing it. Since easily scared in video games, and reaction is slow, probably would never get passed day 4 if not 3. Is one of those... "ahh zombie jump on me" *pauses game; screams; unpause*
Watching the let's plays, sometimes the game scared me, other times not so much? The last one wasn't too scary, you got used to the vent system going out and the taunting rabbit. Plus the strategy seemed too simple, there is more to the story like secret areas to click on and whatnot -but yet to see a let's play where they complete the "good ending"- I will admit it had actually taken me 3 days to finish marathon all the games, constantly fell asleep... -I blame hiding under warm covers during scary moments knocking me out-
Overall love the lore, and especially the FNAF fans. The game is pretty cool on how the creator scott recreates each game to be completely different from the last, yet similar all same time. I do wish he did a little more on the last, but hey he did create multiple endings, so ehh why not?
--sorry ;-; talk to much--

I know that feel. The first one was too much for me. I couldn't finish it. Now I just watch this guy play cuz he makes it less terrifying for me. xD

I can't even watch the videos.
The way the game is formatted hits my horror buttons exactly. It's intereting to boot - the story isn't just served up to you or used as a plot device. The story is actually hidden deep inside of contextual clues, and then the games afterwards give you even more clues. They often leave you with more questions then answers.
Personally I don't think it's so much haunted as cursed really.
But I'm an easy sucker for jumpscares because I'm too nervous and jumpy, and the pressure of something chasing me to kill me, or being unable to defend myself whilst it chases me or seeks me out... uuurg.
The whole game is like the sewers in amnesia on repeat QQ

That's what I love about the games. Instead of doing the usual stuff that most horror games do (ie. having a character run away from some ominous figure while only equipped with a flashlight or an iPhone with the light feature while they try to solve puzzles and get out of there alive), they make it so you can't move, and you have to wait for the enemies to come to you, and it's up to you to keep them away from you for a specific period of time or else you die.
Even worse is you don't have any weapons, and you have to rely on the pizzeria's faulty power system to aid your survival by conserving power. It's something new, which I love to death. I am a bit of a horror fanatic to begin with though.

I swear, I swear!!
