- ANIMANGA (99% LIKELY)
- CATEGORY: POST-APOCALYPTIC
- BASED ON: THE WALKING DEAD AND DYING LIGHT
- TYPE: SANDBOX ROLEPLAY (?) - NOT SURE YET.
SETTING IDEAS:
- MULTIPLE SAFE-ZONES: IE, Harran (or another fictional city). Safe zones can be set up in sky scrapers, top floors of buildings, or fenced in areas of land that have barbwire tops - draws locations from most popular tourist locations within the game. Focuses on interactions with diverse characters in different locations as well as the infected (not to mention the special infected).
- SINGLE SAFE-ZONE: IE, Alexandra Safe-Zone from The Walking Dead focusing on the community aspect of the zombie apocalypse. Characters are given occupations such as: runner, scout, recruiter, surgeon, resident, constable (law enforcement), resident, etc.
ZOMBIES
- WALKER: These were once normal men and women who contracted the virus spreading through the city or country, depending on the location. City wise would be quarantined and single safe-zone would be country wise. The infected, possess reduced higher brain function and attack and subsequently infect any uninfected targets around them on sight, mainly with their arms or with hand-held weapons.
- VIRALS: They're super fast, they look like runners due to the reason they are freshly bitten and still retain some cognitive function - they’re able to climb vehicles and some buildings that have ladders or are low to the ground. However, they cannot infiltrate safe-zones.
- GOON: They swing a giant sledgehammer when you get close to them.
- TOADS: Shoots projectile vomit that burns the player if he's hit. Toads are also slightly more agile than other infected, being able to jump on the rooftops to be able to aim at it's prey. Its ugly appearance and way of fighting influenced the way the survivors named that particular infected.
- DEMOLISHERS: Most dangerous type of Infected during the day, who dwell in towns of Dying Light. Demolishers are a type of Infected which charge towards the player, breaking through walls and lifting cars without restraint. They are even more dangerous than the Runners, as Demolishers can easily break through barricades and deliver one-hit kills. (UNLIKELY TO APPEAR IN A SINGLE SAFE-ZONE PLOT OTHER THAN BY REFERENCE)
- BOLTER: Special resource zombie, only appears at night in specific areas. Sneak up behind it to kill it then loot the flesh sample for rare resource crafting.
- BOMBER: Often times they appear coming out of doorways or around corners and your first instinct is to hit them (which results in an instant explosion). Otherwise, once they see you, they will run toward you and then pause to explode (giving you very little time to dodge) or if they see you but can't reach you, will explode on the spot. They don't climb and are usually placed in spots such as safe houses once you secure them (for no reason), in missions around corners and as a surprise in the hallway, or used as a way to explode other nearby zombies. (MAY NOT BE IMPLEMENTED - NOT SURE YET - MAY ONLY BE REFERENCED IN BOTH PLOT IDEAS)
- VOLATILE: They appear only at night (however they be randomized for “missions”). They will hunt you once they see you until they lose line of sight. They're super strong, super fast, and their only weakness is to UV light. The only way to deal with them at is to run, hoping to catch up to some kind of trap to knock them out. In regards to a single safe-zone plot, Volatiles may lurk around the safe-zone despite not being able to enter due to the UV lights. May try to follow players until they reach the UV light traps at the entrances of the safe-zone.
- SCREAMERS: This childlike zombie will scream and blind the player, drawing all undead to its position. You can deal with it either by sneaking up on it and "quieting" it or using a ranged weapon to take it out before it screams. Once it has started screaming, your main priority should be silencing it. (UNLIKELY TO APPEAR IN SINGLE SAFE-ZONE PLOT OTHER THAN BY REFERENCE)
